Sounds good!

Perfect day for biking outdoors (30 minutes). Drink 8 glasses of water. Increase potassium. Yesterday, I didn't bike as far as planned (needed help to get it down from it's winter spot, hanging from the ceiling). So I walked over a mile before that and then biked 10 minutes.

Nice post - thanks!

I will try that! I bought grapes and will try that too - but a 1/2 cup of grapes take up half my daily sugar allowance (15). So I'll just pop one grape at a time to fend the craving.

Today I will drink 8 glasses of water - which I met as my goal yesterday. I plan to bike two miles.

I like to weigh myself every morning, before my cup of coffee. I do see fluctuations during the week. But at this point, I need that daily reminder; it's a motivator for me.

Thanks everyone for the great tips! I feel I now have a lot of options to handle my sugar cravings and ways to incorporate sugar purposely into my diet. :flowerforyou:

Today I plan to meet my 8 cups of water. Yesterday I met my sugar level and not quite all my calories (because I had a slight headache in the evening), exercised but not quite as long (walking, and short set of lunges and squats), and saw my wt. increase slightly this morning.

I entirely gave up sodas over 6 months ago and I feel soo much better. I also stay away from white flour - breads, cakes, etc. I now find that if I eat anything made with white flour that my system actually hurts (growls, etc.). I switched to olive oil about two years ago. I just discovered grapeseed oil and it's my new…

I didn't know this! Great advice!

Not sure if this is good advice, but... maybe share a dessert with another person and don't feel pressure to have to complete your portion (like a fork full or two)?
-
Wow, you are motivated! You're on a roll!

I love dark chocolate! And the higher the cacoa %, the more the health benefits...in limited amounts, that is. (http://www.womenshealthmag.com/health/benefits-of-chocolate)

Way to go! It appears that the cravings lessen as time goes on. I love Skinny Cow Snickerdoodle sandwiches as a special treat. I'm also trying new flavors (seasonings).

I like to save something a little sugary for after dinner too. But I'm finding a lot of my food choices have hidden sugars in them that I didn't expect. For example, I switched from Activia (60 calories) to Dannon Light & Fit (50 calories) and found the latter has more sugar than the first! I switched because I like to…

Unaisha8, wow, you are very ambitious! Way to go! ...A new treadmill is a beautiful thing

Way to go, charlibets! Very inspiring!

Today I will walk 30 minutes and do 15 minutes of beginner detox yoga (Gaiam). I met my goal yesterday and did not exceed my allowed sugar intake and walked 35 (over 30) minutes.

I hit plateaus frequently too and it's somewhat frustrating. Since joining MFP, I found a pattern in my plateau: every 6 to 8 days and then I don't seem to lose until 2 to 3 days later. Occasionally, I'll even see a slight incline my weight before it makes a comeback and drops. I hear change is the trick (because your…

I was curious too and found an answer given by AmyRhubarb on January 16, 2013 in "Fitness and Exercise" message board that I think explains your question very well: "MFP is set up so that you are supposed to eat those calories back. You're daily goal is already at a deficit, so if you eat to that amount and don't do any…

Just like yesterday, I'm going to enjoy the nice weather and take a 30 minute walk in the park with the dog (a little arm exercise, haha). Planning to eat fish for lunch, and to stay within my allowed sugar amount today.

If I treat myself to a sugary treat, the next day (and a few days after) I crave sugar and I tell myself that a little treat won't make a difference. When I have to confront someone (like my child, a boss, spouse) after a disagreement, I feel like I'm pacing afterword in the kitchen and looking for some food (don't know…
