Went to an outdoor festival yesterday and easily walked over a mile :)

Day 1 arm challenge done.

Sugar craving again today. I'll definitely pay closer attention to electrolytes and salt. Thank you for the tips!!
-
Rest was needed yesterday. Today I did 5 lunges and walked 20 min.
-
Met my Kato goal today but had a headache that grew worse as the day went on. I started craving sugar, like that would fix the headache. Not an easy day to resist eating more food
-
Challenge yesterday was walk 15. Today I'm battling a headache, not sure I'll be challenging myself physically.

Wonder if emotion blocking is blocking my ability to sense a full stomach? Does this even make sense?

I have a nonfunctioning pituitary and hence thyroid. So I'm on hydrocortisone and levothyroxine. Both worked well for me until my insurance would cover generic. Fortunately my endocrinologist connected recent weight gain of 40 labs in 6 mos with the generic brands not working for me. I also had other symptoms, extreme…

My Endo just changed my hydrocortisone brand from generic (required by my insurance) to a brand name. I gained 30 lbs over 6 months and was getting quite sick. What an improvement this has made in my life already! I wasn't able to process the generic.

Okay, day 1 was tough. I refined my No Carbs week to No Bad Carbs. Reasons being, I discovered a banana has 30 carbs! And a 1/2 cup of peas has 12. What?! So I resisted a person handing out strawberry tarts at work. And I made a great dinner of scrambled eggs with red pepper, salmon and onions. But I craved sugar... why?

I'm in. Starting wt 206. Would like to loose 10 in these 12 weeks. I gained 40 over a year's time (thyroid and bad eating habits). Here's to getting on a better path
-
I'd like to start this challenge. If I understand right, I pick one a day from the first posting?
-
Tomorrow I start my first day of no carbs for a week. Going to be a big challenge since I pretty much live on carbs. Bread, rice, potato, noodles.
-
Caching up on sleep and laundry. Good and simple with no rush :)
-
Update, 189. Down 3.

I have hypo too. I found when I added low dosage of a depression med to up my cortisol (which dipped from a nonfunctioning pituitary) everything started balancing for me. I am now able to loose weight when I work at it. I too find I do better at 1400 cal.

Hi Mary. Last time I was on MFP was over 3 years ago. Lost over 50 lbs over 2 years on MFP, then another 30. Just put the 30 back on from Spring to now. I think I wasn't acknowledging my moods and let food be my go-to. I too find my want for food goes up at night. Lori, I like your reminder to take each day…

I'm in the Lake Minnetonka area.

I'm in. Current wt 192 - goal 182.

Today I'm going to drink A LOT of water and get a good night's rest. I plan to walk a mile and do a short set of sit ups. And, I'm going to continue to resist the temptation to eat the junk food (cupcakes, donuts, cheese danishes) that my co-workers keep bringing into the office this week!
-
My goal is to go down to 175 (2 lbs) by end of August. I'm aiming for a normal BMI (wt 150?) by next summer.
-
I weighed in same as last week, 177. Not bad considering I went to a State Fair...cream puffs were amazing! My goal this weekend is to be aware of stress eating (my elderly mother became very sick a little over a month ago and passed away a couple weeks ago) and make conscious healthy eating choices. I plan to do more…
-
Weight down to 177. I've been biking and walking almost daily now. A couple times a week I walk or bike farther than usual. Really enjoying my new found strength and endurance :)
-
I walked almost 3 miles (with a few stops)! Woohoo!!
-
Today I'm resting... Yesterday I challenged myself to a 12.5 mile bike... and I did it!

I'm in. I like the name and the plan. If the 1% response rate rule applies to final group participation (like it does in direct response marketing), it would be beneficial to open the group to new members, for awhile. If this group goes public (for awhile), I also vote for removing previous folders created during 20/75....…

This group has been great! The dedication and support demonstrated really was truly inspiring @>--- My body went bonkers on me a couple weeks into this journey and I had to gradually bounce back.... which I DID! I lost 8 lbs from 75 days ago. Most notably, my measurements greatly improved... Start - 4/21/2013 (Weigh In) -…

Today I will walk 1 1/2 miles (3,000 steps?). Yesterday I did some gardening (more like landscaping) in muggy weather - Funny how muggy weather can make sweat cry harder in a shorter amount of time.
