Well done on your achievements so far - it's hard to keep going sometimes but remember the positives you've learnt already. I'm late 20s and have around 40lbs to lose this year at least! I tend to do low carb/high protein meals and try to log everything I can, with an aim to do 5 work outs a week. I've sent you through a…

Well done - keep up the good work and motivation as that's more than half of the journey!

Try some Skyr yoghurt or other version that's protein rich. Alternatively, low fat cheese (30g portion) is usually good as a snack. For sweet things, try popcorn that's not got a lot of added sugar to it or how about making your own flapjacks with rolled oats and sugar substitute? Hope this helps

Make a big Spanish tortilla on the weekend and portion out - mushrooms, ham, onions and peppers. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Butterbeans and tinned tomatoes on whole meal toast. Some great ideas here though that I'll be trying so thanks everyone :-)

Skyr is totally fabulous - favourite yoghurt by far :-)

I'm going for low carb too - mainly to help stabilise my blood sugars and help with my overall diabetic control. I find that it's much more satisfying eating a high protein/fat to low carb diet and am fuller for longer :-) best of luck to you all and happy to friend for motivation and support

I'll usually say that I can have a treat on a Friday for example provided I've done my 5 workouts for the week but will limits myself to ONE thing. And then log it. However, if it's a sugary feast of naughtiness, I'll just avoid it and go out for a walk whilst everyone gets stuck in because I'll struggle otherwise.

I totally agree with the pickle juice idea! The base of most of mine is a splash of olive oil, whole grain mustard, lemon juice and shredded herbs - basil or thyme freshly chopped are great.

Hi there, similar to you all, I've done this before but am back again as im now the heaviest I've ever been - stepped on the scales yesterday and couldn't believe my eyes! This really worked for me last time so am confident that it'll work again and just need to stick with it. I've got a fair few similar interests to you…

after you have boiled the eggs, run them under cool water before rolling them on kitchen paper on a work surface. Should splinter the shell to allow you to peel it easier.

woo hoo! Thanks a lot guys :-D feel much better now as I really enjoy my egg breakfasts. Will totally keep on eating them now

Hi there I'm similar to most of you on this thread; I like a glass after work and then some on the weekends but am trying to cut down to jut weekends. Would love to be part of the 'weekends only' group :-)

boiled eggs spicy roast chick peas (spray some fry light in an oven tray, tip in a in of chick peas, throw in whatever spices you fancy - I usually do chilli and garlic with rosemary - and roast for 45mins) houmous and celery sticks Some good ideas above though that i'll definitely be trying :-)

To be honest, I try and exercise more on the days I'm going out or at least for a couple of days beforehand to work off the extras. I feel like I can have a treat if I work it into my meal plan and do an extra 10 minutes jog or walk the dog a bit further. You have to treat yourself at times because otherwise, it's an…

Don't beat yourself up about it. This happens to everyone so it's completely normal (well it happens to most people as you can see from the responses on here) :-) Just move on from it and forget about the cream cake. Think about how good you felt when you were eating healthily, exercising and achieving one more day closer…

My advice would be to weigh your food accurately and log what you eat; for me that was an eye opener when I realised exactly how much I was consuming and seeing it all written in black and white really hammers it home! Good luck on your journey :-) everyone on here is really supportive and full of good tips and hints x

Protein really fills me up so my snacks are usually the following: - hard boiled egg - slice of ham, spread with low fat soft cheese, then rolled up - celery sticks filled with peanut butter/low fat soft cheese - a handful of almonds - dried fruit (small amount) and seed mix - porridge oats and small handful of raisins…

I used to have this problem in my old job so had porridge/oatmeal first thing (6am) with skim milk and added some nuts or seeds to it. Then had a banana around 10ish for a snack. Got me through until about 12.30pm. Now, I have 2 boiled eggs and between 80-100g ham followed by 100g natural yoghurt and I'm full all morning…

I'm in :-) I'm aiming to lose 2lbs a week until I go on holiday in August so this will fit in perfectly for me. I'm already cutting down on carbs like bread, pasta and anything with added sugar is a no no. Good luck guys; looking forward to it x

Well done you :-) sometimes it's really difficult to deal with that binge craving. All the above suggestions are great; I'll be using some of them next time I feel this way.

Melon - any kind is ridiculously overpriced and I hate buying prepared packet melon Soft fruits like raspberries or blueberries - utterly ridiculou

Hi there Wishing you lots of luck on your journey. I have lived in China for a few months and found the food too tasty to resist! I have also lived in UAE so know how hard it can be living abroad in a different culture. I've been on MFP, lost weight, put it back on, come back etc etc! This time I'm determined to lose the…
