Read this previous post. It has great information. I'm going off of a suspicion that you need more than 1200 calories/day. This will help you determine the right caloric intake for you. I apologize in advance if you have followed this method and have calculated the correct amount of calories, and you *truly* are only…

I don't like the term "cheat" anything (meal or day). It makes me think that I'm doing something wrong. I try to plan all of my meals and fit in whatever food(s) I want during the day. If you are always in a deficit during the week, one cheat meal, depending on the size, could erase all of the other days. Every Thursday,…

+1 Also, there is a difference between motivation and determination. There's a good blog article that talks about this. I will try to find it and send you the link. Remember, you need patience, willpower, and commitment. If you have that, use this app correctly, and read / research information, you'll be a success. Good…

^^This. Also, take raw chicken breasts for instance. The serving size is measured as raw. Even though you lose size/weight after its cooked. Not fair but, if you want to be most accurate, raw is the way to go.

Thanks for sharing. I was going to ask this question until I saw this post.

I weigh every morning. I log it only weekly (Monday mornings - keeps me accountable for the weekend).

Hi Kristen! Thank you for hosting another challenge. I'd like to join.

I tried the salt + vinegar and sour cream + cheddar chips that were good (S+v was way better and I'm not a fan usually of that flavor). The BBQ ones left a weird after taste. I didn't care for that one as much. I've never tried the bars but happy to see many places I shop carry them. I'd prefer to try them before buying a…

Hi! I'm 38 (even though in my head I'm still 29..hehe)! I'm looking to shed a few pounds. It would be nice to have some active friends. Most of mine ditched me after I went on an 100-day MFP hiatus. SW: 193, CW: 189, GW: 140(ish).

+1; grocery stores either mark down after 7:00pm or first thing in the morning. Plus, http://greatist.com/health/44-healthy-foods-under-1 (hope the link works)

Awesome job!!

Congratulations! Very inspiring!!

I've never had this happen with either; coconut or almond flour. I agree with PP; experiment and see how your body responds.

Homemade lunchables ritz crackers, crispy pepperoni (I microwaved them), cheese. Also bacon I fried from this weekend. Mostly protein and left me fuller than usual.

I weigh almost every day. Mostly because I know my weight fluctuates 1-3lbs. It would drive me a little batty to weigh only once a week and not see the scale budge. For me, weighing more often let's me gauge it better.

+1...especially on the mindless snacking that comes along with it. If I'm running low on calories, I'll grab a light beer instead (Corona Light = 99 calories). Usually, I have some sort of spirit while I'm making dinner. Just my thing.

Calories In, Calories Out
-
It depends on the person. I don't always meal plan, but when I do, it helps a lot. I dread hearing, "I don't know" when I ask, "What do you want for dinner tonight?". I'll come up with weekly menus, but if we're supposed to cookout and it's pouring rain, I just switch meals to another idea. I usually meal plan Saturday…

^^This. I've had to face that fact lately, and it's not so appetizing (no pun intended).

^^This. Especially the article. When I drank shakes, I used to buy the Silk brand. The caloric content attracted me (because I was using such a small amount). I've never purchased unchilled milk. Just doesn't seem right, unless I'm getting it straight from the cow's udders. To each, their own. Good luck.
