Are you serious? OP- maybe logging your calories would help you get a handle on what you're actually eating.

Are you eating back exercise calories? Cuz if you are, I think your cals are too high to lose weight. Now if you weighed 230, you could lose weight eating 1800-2000 but at 185, that sounds more like maintenance. Your body seems to agree.

Semi-automatic Karmann Ghia painted hot pink. I forget the year. Old.

And you are an 18 year old young man! Please don't confuse yourself with everybody else here. Women cannot eat as much as you. Older men cannot eat as much. Older women, even less. Almost no one can eat as much as an 18YO male! If I ate 2400 cals a day I'd be gaining 5 pounds a week.

Thank you! I've been pretty sure that Eat more/Weigh less is bro-science, espoused mainly by highly energetic men (and some women) in their early 20s. If it worked that way for everyone, MFP would be a lonely place.

I mix 2 Tbsp ground flax seed into a cup of water, add a few drops of lemon juice and chug it down. It's not much of a recipe!

Terrific. It must feel great.

My mom had a bunch-- "They're just jelly of you!" "Always make a tinkle before you go." "If your neck's warm, you're warm." (wear a scarf) "Get your first one over quick [marriage] -- don't wait around 20 years like I did!" "You can love a rich man just as easily as a poor man." "For every pot there's a lid."

You must have one hell of a metabolism! Nice! This rule of thumb --which I didn't make up, btw-- is just about right for me so it doesn't strike me as ridiculous. I would like to get to 140 and I set my cal. goal at 1400. I would go nowhere but UP on any more than that! There is much to wonder about in the OP's post. Like…

That does not seem to be a calorie level that would lead to weight loss for you. When you calculated your TDEE, perhaps some inaccuracy crept in. The proof is in the pudding. If you're stable at 1900 and want to lose, go lower. I use the rule of thumb, # of cals / 10 = goal weight. So if I wanted to weigh 190, I would eat…

What's wrong with sugarless gum for a while, if it helps you quit smoking? I quit a 3 pack a day habit (many years ago) by throwing away my smokes and lighters and ashtrays. I didn't use any nicotine replacements because, guess what, nicotine leaves your system after 3 days so the physical part of your addiction is OVER.…

Another 25 YO man who doesn't think anyone can survive on so little....

You're such a cutie!

Carrot and watermelon is surprisingly delicious. Use the white of the rind too-- only cut off the green skin.

Log it under "karma."

Don't forget salad! A great filler-upper. Just be careful what dressing you use.

I'm sorry but that's the funniest exercise video I've seen yet! No wonder comments were disabled. And yet there's something appealing about it. But I don't see myself doing that anytime soon!

I am totally on-board for something better than 30DS. Can't wait to try it. Thanks! Wait-- I just looked at Prancercise...... OP- is this a joke?

Take it one day at a time. Log your food. Find friends here. Keep your diary open so you will feel accountable to your friends. They won't rag on you, but you will want to do well in their company. When your feed says you stayed under your calories for the day, they will give you props. It's nice. It helps. Start to…

How about "PEE-anist." Come on people! It's "p'YAN-ist." And of course, there's penis.

Nutella, no contest.

There are a lot of numbers between 1200 and 1800. It seems like 1800 is too many for weight loss for you. I would eat 1800 cals. if I wanted to weight 180 lbs. (rule of thumb).

I think some young ladies who already have damn good bodies call themselves skinny-fat to hide their incipient anorexia. And good for you, with your slammin' body.

It gets worse.

Flatbread pizza is a staple of my diet. And this looks like it might make a better flatbread than my current recipe. Thanks!

Are you taking measurements? Maybe you've lost inches. If no inches and no pounds, I'd go back to what was working, if I were you.

I get this. It has nothing to do with how much or how little you eat. I am always hungry too. Two minutes after a satisfying meal I am hungry. I'm never not hungry. I can always eat more. When people say "No thanks, I'm not hungry" I'm like, What does that have to do with anything? So, if anyone has a real answer on how to…

How about: don't push yourself so hard. It's not a contest.
