Yeah, I am ok missing that, haha. Why can't we let people do what works best for them? Why does it have to always be a my way or the highway approach? If moderation works for you, then awesome! I mean it, that is wonderful. Everybody works different and if people find that detoxing from stuff that makes them feel bad is…

yeah, not really. I joined this thread because I want to be a part of it, not to nit pick the OP. YOU did. Not ironic darlin, truthful. Sorry, apparently you missed irony day on the same day manners were being taught.

Hi! I have about 125 or so to lose. Its kind of scary, but I believe I can do this! If anyone wants to add me that would be awesome. :) I was guilty of thinking my weight "wasnt that bad" or because of my stronger build that "I carried the weight better"... well, it ended up with me at 325 to realize that I was in trouble!…

I am sorry, did I miss something? I thought this was to support people, not show up on a thread for something I don't intend to do just to be catty. Anyway OP, I am in. :) Edited to add, some people have no sense of humour. My hubby is a jerk that way too. ;)

You are all inspiring and I love reading your stories. :) I had several reasons. One being that my daughter starts school this fall (I swear she can't be old enough! Lol) and I don't want to be the fat mom. Second, my husband whom I love so much. He has never EVER said a thing about my weight. He loves me for who I am, not…

ok, sorry, the science teacher in me is screaming here. 1 pound is 1 pound is 1 pound. 1 pound of feathers = 1 pound concrete. Volume is NOT the same as weight. Take the feathers and concrete as an example, if you fill a five gallon bucket with feathers and another with concrete, then yes, the concrete is heavier. However,…

I think it depends on your body. Frame, muscle, etc... I am not an expert though! I know for me (from past experience), 170 is about as low as I can go without looking anorexic, and I am 5'9".

seriously thank you to all of you. Its hard to get started on this journey, so hearing encouragement helps a ton! I will have to get some pictures, I think you are right, that will help me see the change :) edited for bad spelling!

I have had horses my whole life up until about 4 years ago. :( I had a baby, got married and moved to Canada. Now, 2 babies later, I live in a small city in Ontario and am horseless. It is killing me, lol. I want to get back to a healthy weight and start back up. I was an endurance rider.

I live in Ontario and we spend about $150-$200 a week for a family of 2 adults and 2 small children (4 and 2). I go shopping every 2 weeks, I plan out our meals (all of them and snacks). This includes everything from shampoo, cleaning supplies, dog/cat food, tylenol, etc. We buy our meat from a local butcher and we do buy…
