I'm 55 and trying to lose about 100lbs, feel free to add me.

I'm using the Wii fit Plus. There's some really great excercises, you can tailor it to your needs, and with you having young kids, you can work out at home, and then when you and your husband are done, the kids have something to do. If you figure the cost of joining a gym or whatever, the Wii will end up being cheaper.

I want to lose 50-60 by summer. I want to be able to go into any store and not have to worry if they are going to have my size!!!

I have to agree, if you head's not in it when you start, you're not going to succeed.

Congratulations, you look great! Awesome job, now stick with the maintenance.

I personally think it still comes down to what you're comfortable with, if having a lack of variety isn't going to bother you, than go for it if it is an easier solution. But if you see yourself getting bored, I'd add the variety back in so you don't get fed up and eat any and every thing.

Feel free to friend me, I'm pretty much eating things I like, just less of them and trying to stay away from fried food. I have no plans of going gluten free, vegetarian or vegan, cutting out white sugar or any of that stuff. Right now I'm eating Sara Lee 45 Calorie Wheat bread only because the store doesn't carry the…

I'm 55 and it is definitely harder. For me it has more to do with "old age" problems, like me knees aren't what they used to be, along with other joints. The main thing is don't get discouraged, stay at it.

I "officially" weigh in once a week. I do a lot of Wii Fit Plus, so it weighs me everyday I step on it, but I don't pay much attention to it. And I weigh in on Mondays, it motivates me to be good over the weekend.

I just discovered this the other day. Special K Sea Salt Cracker chips (30 chips, 110 calories) and 2 wedges of Crystal Farms Garlic and Herb cheese wedges (same as Laughing cow), each wedge is 35 calories, so for under 200 calories you can have 30 crackers and cheese and it's awesome!!!!

Feel free to add me, I've only been on here a short while and have a long way to go!

GREAT JOB!!!! You look great, stay with it!

I'm pretty much on the same journey as you, except older. Feel free to add me if you want, I try to get on here daily and at a minimum check it on my phone!

I'm on here everyday and have a long way to go. Plan on being on here after my goals are met, because this time I don't want it coming back!!!!!

Are you taking measurements of yourself? You could be losing inches even if it's not showing up on the scale.

Mine's an Escali, I got it online somewhere, don't remember when, but they are a great tool!!!!

Mine's open, feel free. I have a lot more to lose than you!

55 and shooting for 100lbs!

Yes, most definitely counting calories and exercise will work. It's pretty basic, I started at 342, I visited a couple websites, put in my information and they said top maintain my weight I need to eat over 3000 calories a day. Which I might say I was having no problem doing. So, eating less than that and not changing…

Congratulations!!!! Awesome job!

Skinny cow makes an awesome 100 calorie chocolate covered wafer. It's fantastic.

You just have to keep doing it. It will get easier. Hence the saying no pain, no gain. We used to have days in the Army where we would work out until muscle failure, we were in great shape, but it always took a couple days to recover from that. So if you're not used to working, it will take a bit for your muscles to get…

Awesome job, I can't wait to be overweight as apposed to obese. Long for the day my Wii Fit Plus says overweight!!!

You need to do what's right for you. I weigh weekly and a Friday. That way if I slip a little on the weekend, it doesn't show up on Monday. Also, at least for me, if I weigh daily, I think I would get bugged if I had a day where I showed a gain. Another thing, weigh yourself at the same time, usually morning is best (they…
