In honor of the movie I watched last night:

This thread is awesome :) Here's my fave Single Ladies spoof:

Yeah I was going to say they turn out great after being frozen. I follow this recipe to make my own turkey sausage/egg white mcmuffins (I was buying those Jimmy Dean Delight muffins all the time). http://www.theyummylife.com/Egg_McMuffin

Mostly a giver, although when I'm in a relationship I do like to be touched, massaged, hold hands, cuddle, spoon. My main love language is touch. I miss all those things :/

Maybe try to figure out what exactly it is you're craving. Is it the fizziness or the sweet? If it's just the sweet, do you like things like Mio drops? I really like the Dasani Drops coconut/pineapple. If it's the fizz, do you like plain soda water? Or maybe you can try putting some fruits in a glass of soda water. V8…

Once you go black...lol. I tried to go back and it just didn't work.

I like F*** You by Lily Allen. Who doesn't love a peppy little song telling someone off lol. Also "Since You've Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson. That came out around the time my last relationship ended and it was so true. I can breathe for the first time... "What's Love Got to Do with It" Tina Turner "No More Drama" Mary J.…

I went cold turkey bc it was for medical reasons. I ate an extremely bland diet for 2 weeks and then tried to introduce some things after that. I found that my taste was super sensitive so I honestly didn't even want a lot of things that I used to eat. Thanks taste buds lol. Now I see commercials for certain things and I…

Brita also makes individual water bottles. I think they cost around $8.

Well although it seems silly it took an actual diagnosis of a medical problem to change my ways. Maybe it's easier for me to find my self control by telling myself "I can't eat X" for medical reasons. I truly do want to feel better. I had a relapse a couple of weeks ago and I started feeling sick again, so that was the…

I'm picky about my water, but I realized that by making the conditions right I can stop using those mix ins or be tempted to drink other stuff. So...I use the water cooler at work or my Pur water pitcher at home. I constantly have one of my Rubbermaid bottles with me bc they're the only thing I like to drink out of (I can…

Try using other spices and herbs to flavor your food. Depending on the type of dish even dried herbs (oregano, basil, rosemary) can add a lot to a dish. Although most grocery stores have some fresh seasonally and it's really easy to grow your own herbs too. I've recently been cutting down my sodium intake due to borderline…

I get the shrimp and broccoli dish, which also includes carrots and ****ake mushrooms.

Try making a fun workout for her that the whole family participates in! We have a lot of fun just having dance parties. My son especially loves Jackson 5 songs for some reason. If you have a Wii, Just Dance Kids is really fun, we compete with each other to see who can get the high score ha. Although I usually end up…

So for those who don't drink soy milk, you don't eat edamame/tofu either? I'm curious bc I have a family history of thyroid cancer and goiters.

Good to know! Is this the color when mixed with the toilet water? lol sorry if TMI. I don't ever get to see at work bc the toilets are autoflush, I'll try to pay more attention at home!

Well I guess I'm a little under half my weight, but not too bad, I'm getting about 120 oz. a day and I'm 270 lbs. I wasn't obsessing about it, I just want to make sure that I'm getting what my body needs, and that I understood what MFP is recommending. I don't drink alcoholic or caffeinated beverages, only the occasional…

Great thanks everyone! It's funny, since I cut out the caffeinated drinks I feel thirsty all the time! I know caffeine can dehydrate you, but maybe my body was just used to being dehydrated? I'm glad to know I'm drinking enough even on my off days. I think I do drink more at work bc I love the way our water cooler water…

I like having a kashi waffle with some natural jelly spread on top, greek yogurt is definitely yum, turkey sausage on a low fat croissant (I also have egg whites but I imagine it'd be good without too),

Ditto

I just wanted to say it's great to see all the wonderful advice! I'm lucky in that my son enjoys relatively healthy stuff, but he is only 6. Thank you so much PP for suggesting eatingwell.com! They have a whole section of $3 weeknight meals, just what I've been (unsuccessfully) searching around the web all day to find!

I agree about trying other carbonated drinks to help wean you off. V8 has some carbonated juices that tasted really great. Unfortunately carbonation in general irritates me so I had to give it all up completely, I only drink water now.

Thank you! I will definitely check out the site. That's really mainly why I joined MFP, to help keep up with my food intake to try to track any triggers. That's how I figured out citric acid was a culprit. I really like the notes section too, it's great to be able to jot down how I'm feeling each morning. I do need to look…

I too gave up soda about 2 weeks ago (the 12th). The first week or so I was very sluggish and groggy, I had the withdrawal headaches and lack of focus. I had to cut it out for health reasons, so I can't use any substitution. My only advice is just to pump the water. I know they say that caffeine can make you more…

Yes not all fat women have big boobs. :( I've been a B cup for as long as I can remember, through weight gain, pregnancy, and even breastfeeding they never changed size. Lucky me! My ex tells me the reason other fat chicks have guys and I don't is bc my boobs are too small. Oh well.

No the phone doesn't need to be unlocked. Straight Talk will send you a SIM that works with either AT&T or Tmobile's towers.

Thinking it was okay to have soda all the time...I started drinking it when I was a kid and my parents didn't care. Definitely eating mindlessly in front of the TV or computer. I see my son doing the same thing and these last few weeks I've been making him have all snacks at the table. Also just depending on food in…

I too had to give up a lot of things for medical reasons; chocolate, fried foods, caffeine, also other foods that aren't "bad" calorie wise, but bad for my GERD, tomatoes, onions, garlic. I used to drink Coke all.day.long, now I only drink water and the occasional Sobe Life water or small cup of juice or skim milk. We used…

Well I just joined last week after hearing a friend talk about it. I'm not really trying to lose weight at the moment, although I HAVE lost 7 lbs. I was put on a GERD diet two weeks ago, and I wanted an easy way to track the food I was eating to see which were my triggers. I'm also trying to lower my sodium intake bc my…

Hi everyone, single mom of a 6 year old boy here. I can't call mine baby fat since I lost the baby weight almost instantly, and have since gained almost 100 lbs. :/ I've been put on a medical diet for GERD, and so far I've lost 7 lbs with mostly diet. I have a YMCA membership but it's so hard to find the motivation to go.…
