I have used it to make nachos (healthy toppings and baked chips) or roll it into a burrito (with fat free cheese and veggies, maybe a little FF sour cream).

1. I, too, am addicted to the ID channel! 2. If I could, I would eat dessert all day, everyday 3. I like the way envelope glue tastes 4. I check my email obsessively 5. I read books to my dogs 6. I haven't spoken to my birth father in over 2 years 7. I just got married in July 8. My dream job would be to own a farm for…

I've heard of life insurance denying people but never medical insurance.

Wow that looks amazing! Also, beautiful Dane in your pic....I grew up with them. They're SO cool. (I somehow ended up with dachshunds...complete opposite end of the spectrum! lol).

Hey, hubby is going to order me one for V-day. What brand is yours? Does it have a chest strap? Also, if anyone has any recommendations as to which are most accurate, I'd appreciate it. I'm trying to stay in the 100-150 price range.

Really??? Why not? (just curious). I would eat it intravenously if it were possible...can't get enough! (when I DO eat it, that is).

I read somewhere that women who eat one whole egg a day (yolk and all) lose more weight than those who don't.

Congrats and good luck!!

No better way to find out than to try! See how it goes...I don't see why it wouldn't work. I got this recipe from MFP for corn muffins, too, if you want to try (I haven't made them yet): CORN MUFFINS Ingredients 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (I used whole wheat) 1/2 cup cornmeal 3 tablespoons sugar (I used brown sugar) 1/2…

If you like to workout at home: I recommend the Jillian Michaels routines. They're short but they work all muscles with cardio intervals so it kicks your butt! If you have exercise TV on demand, you can find them (and others like them) there. If you're REALLY hardcore: try the p90x series. That works everything (I was too…

(Didn't mean to post that twice....whoops!)

I HIGHLY recommend investing in a vegetable steamer. We have an Oster and it works GREAT. Throw any fresh veggies in there (broc, asparagus, carrots, peppers, onions, mushrooms, eggplant, etc.) and give it a little seasoning (I like garlic powder and pepper): DELICIOUS!!!!! I like salads for sides, and also soup.

I have had Lindt truffles and chocolate turtles sitting on my kitchen table since CHRISTMAS, and I haven't touched them!!! I can say no to sweets. I can portion, weight, and count what I'm eating. I can THINK about what's going into my mouth and decide whether or not it's worth the calories. I can have a cheat DAY....not…

 Good for you!! I went completely crazy yesterday, but I know I've changed because I eat good most of the week and allow myself a little pig-out session every now and then versus 5 times a week. And not to mention now when I eat like that, I don't feel well for the rest of the night, so it acts as a deterrent!

That's part of the reason why I never drink all of my water for the day. I like, seriously, wouldn't get anything else accomplished!

Cardio, cardio, cardio! Hubby has the same problem. Gotta lose the layer first, then tone up. Jillian has a GREAT workout called 6 week, 6 pack. AWESOME!!
-
I don't get it either. I'm relatively petite and I'm always STARVING!! I'm sure it's because I'm used to eating way more than I should be due to all the years of not calorie counting, but still. Sticking to 1200 cals for me is TOUGH, but I can do it. I can't lie and say that I'm not starving though....I am. I just try to…

I had the same problem with my HRM, but it's a really cheap one and I know for a fact that it's telling me I'm burning WAY more than I really am. Plus, it doesn't have a chest strap, so I heard that leads to inaccuracy as well. I told the hubby I wanted a Polar with a chest strap for V-day (heard those were the best and…

You are gorgeous!!!!!!

For just my husband and me, the bill is about $500-$600 a month. We have three animals too, though, so they require food, litter, treats, etc. And the healthier we eat, the more expensive it gets!!!! SOOOO not fair!
-
Yikes! Same thing with all those "Under 550 Cals" and "Weight Watchers" meals at Applebee's. I had the Grilled Shrimp and Island Rice....380 cals, but my whole day's worth of sodium...in ONE MEAL!! Gross!
-
Before I got a HRM, I would log it as "aerobics, high impact"

No pudge is REALLY good, but loaded with sugar unfortunately. Vitatop makes 100 calorie brownies. Never had them, but have had the muffins and those are fantastic!
-
Wow...thank you! That sounds AMAZING!
-
Honestly: I HATE IT. It doesn't taste like anything (big fat duh, right??? LOL) and it's just boring. Plus, I'm a diet soda junkie, so I crave that. And (this sounds like an excuse, but it's true): the more I drink, the more I have to pee...and I already pee WAY too much!! :embarassed:

Thanks for sharing! SOOO many people fall short in the drinking area. Liquid calories are a KILLER!!!! I know most people (I was one of them) don't even realize how many calories they're eating until they stop and actually look at what they're putting in their mouths. It's scary!!
-
You should get a heart rate monitor. That's the best way to tell!
-
It's all good. Every now and then you need to have a food fest!! Saturday I was like 1800 over my calorie goal, so don't feel bad! I'm still down a pound this week, so it's all good. As long as it's not a daily thing, you're fine!

2 oz turkey kielbasa 2 oz top sirloin steak 15 steamed asparagus spears ...and a slim-a-bear 100 calorie, no sugar added fudge bar for dessert. YUM!
