Used to drink a lot of Coke Zero until yesterday (haha). I switched to diet soda a while back because I thought it would be better for me. But now that I think about it, the diet version is probably no good either. No more for me :-).

Kinda trashy :-(. Still love them though. :-)

This may sound like a silly question but does the spinach have to be frozen? I'm not sure where to find that here (live in China).

I replied to someone with the same concern on a forum last week. I'll tell you what I told her. When people stare at you during your exercise just think to yourself "f*%k 'em". I don't just say that to be funny. I get starred/ laughed at most days when I go outside to run (live in a foreign country and stick out like a…

Observations: 1) People BBQ too much in China (terrible amount of smoke) 2) It feels better to run on the street 3) Beijing is not as flat as all the guide books says it is.

I was stuck in the "I'll start my diet tomorrow" way of thinking for a long time. I finally decided not to think of it as something that is either "on" or "off", but rather as something that I am gradually getting into. I also don't beat myself up for eating something that I would consider not a part of the "diet plan". I…

In the past that would happen to me every time that I ate one. I FINALLY figured out that if I eat BEFORE I take the vitamin then I am fine. I take my vitamin after lunch (don't eat enough in the morning not to feel sick from it) . Hope that helps!

Ahhhh, so much beautiful beautiful information. Thank you guys so much..

I wholeheartedly agree. That's why I'm glad that I’m thinking about this early on in the process. ^_^

Sure, but I’m afraid that my answer might turn out to be one of the ‘save the farm animal’ ones you don’t seem to be interested in :-) . Anyway, a while back I saw someone kill a fish (a fish that I wanted to buy) in a supermarket. It really bothered me for some reason over the next few days, and finally I started thinking…

Thank you guys so much. I must admit that I did forget about the protein aspect (very important I know). I think that (at least in the beginning) I'm going to have to really pay close attention to what I'm eating so that I make sure to get all my nutrients in.

One of the reasons I went natural was because I was tired of using my hair as an excuse (a very good excuse but still an excuse) not to workout. It was hard at first, but now that it's been over a year I'm LOVIN it.

Try not to feel so bad. I am trying to view this as a lifestyle change (yes, I know that everyone says that... sorry). I only say this to say that sometimes people eat too much/ mess up. I plan not to beat myself up for the rest of my life whenever I do something silly like... eat an entire ham (that hopefully will never…

21 cloves of garlic.... really. They are good if you grill them.

Hey, Glad to see that you've decided to come back to the site. I've been pretty active on here for a couple months now. You can add me if you like. :-) -Misha

CURVES! But that might just be wisheful thinking from someone that will never be really skinny. :-)

In all my years here I've never had hot pot like that.

Haha! Bump.

USE MUD SHAMPOO! Works really well.

Hey, Feel free to add me to. We have about the same amount of weight to lose. :-)

Thanks for the encouragement. :-) To answer your question, I'm not sure how people train here if they are runners. One of the big problems is pollution (terribly high pollution in the big cities) so that keeps a lot of people from exercising outside (I only go when the pollution index is under 200... which is already too…

I've never wanted tacos so much.

I'm a foreigner living in China. For the past month and a half I have taken up running (people just don't run outside here). So, the result is I usually get a lot of people starring/ pointing/ talking about me while I run past. It use to REALLY bother me... but now when people laugh or point at me as I run past I just…

I just started running BUT just remember not to run too fast. For years I would try running and could only run for like 5 minutes straight (and afterwards felt like dying). That is until I realized that I was sprinting. Now it's not nearly as difficult.
