Anyone in China trying to lose weight?
Hi, I happen to be living in China right now which I find sets me up for completly different challenges. I have gained somewhere around 20 pounds during my year and a half here (oil in everything), and I am somewhat reticent to go running outside (thick smog over the city). Any Ideas?

Does Anyone Else Eat Way Less During the Summer?
Hi, Since it's gotten hotter out here I've been noticing I am having less and less trouble staying within my calorie limit, and for the past week I have been netting below 1200 calories (I know... bad). I'm just wondering if anyone else loses their appetite during the summer. Thanks!

Is it bad to go over your Sugar through eating fruit?
Most mornings I make myself a fruit smoothie with blackbean milk and soy protein powder. I've noticed that the shake alone puts me above my sugar intake for the day. Should I ignore this? Is the sugar you get from fruit bad for you?

Help!! Do you guys trust your Timex HRM?
Hey, I just bought a Timex HRM (with Cheststrap). I've started running with it and I find that if I run for... say... 25 minutes, it will say that I have burned around 600 calories. Could this be right? It seems high so I always take off 150 calories (no idea why I picked the number 150) Thanks you guys!

Hi, I've been on MFP for about 32 days now and I've lost 6.5 pounds so far (YAY!). My goal is to lose around 37 pounds all together. My question is can I continue to lose 6 pounds each month. I hear that weight loss slows down after a while, and I was wondering 1) when this usually happens 2) how much it actually slows…

Question on eating back calories burned during exercise
Hi, I can't understand the concept of eating back calories that are burned during exercise. I have read many posts that say that you should, but I don't understand the logic. Does eating them back not - in some way - just cancel out the exercise? Can someone please explain this to me in the simplest terms possible. Thank…
