  • Coffee is a gift from God himself in the morning. So I give God a hundred calories each day... big deal. I have successfully lost lots o' weight on my coffee w/2% routine. It's really the rest of our day and how we handle ourselves that makes the real difference.
  • Here's a slightly different way to think about it... "This could be my last opportunity to ever get back on that thing, it's only 20 minutes of my life." sounds dramatic, but it isn't. I used to train for triathlons. Now I have MS, which leaves my legs weak and in chronic pain from falling. Now I am in the midst of breast…
  • Those are some amazing pics. But pleeeeeaaaase get any help you can for the bulemia. My sister, now in her 40's, suffers from the effects of a lifetime of it. She has no enamel left on her teeth. Her digestive system and hence her ability to eat like a normal person it shot. She has associated migrains and other health…
  • I just think of the MS patients who can't walk as well as I can. I just think of the fact that using a cane to get out of the gym is far worse that never being able to get in there in the first place! Hey, if I ever do end up in a wheelchair, at least my jeans will fit.
  • *kitten* kicking can be a good thing! It just looks a little different than it did in my healthier days.
  • Definately useless... I'd be a goddess by now... or mabye not... changes each time I hit the button. It's actually my little laugh at the end of the day.
  • I like the slightly flavored fizzy spring water at trader joes. Has berry, lime, orange, lemon etc,,, but not too sweet like other waters. And it's only .79 cents for a one liter bottle! That also get me four + 8 oz. servings of water in right there. Yeah!
  • Thanks for the encouragement. I encourage everyone out there to listen closely to their bodies, and weathering the cravings (and even giving into them occasionally) won't kill ya! Years ago, when I was training for triathlons, I did not count calories, because my body just told me what it wanted... an amazing feat for…
  • Sounds like your mom and I are alot alike. Excercise is a dicey thing sometimes. Does she have balance issues with yoga? I kinda laugh at the thought of gong "down" trying to do a downward-dog or trying to stand on one leg. Thanks for the encouragement.
  • I have seen the p90x thing and watched the infomercials with envy. Darned MS wipes me out. Overheating is becoming a problem. I can't imagine what kind of relapse that would throw me into.
  • Oh you are not alone! Definately take a good look at whether you are feeding yourself correctly. Keep the fire stoked all day long with smaller good snackies. It keeps the cravings away and allows us to build muscle when we are not exercising. You have probably heard this all before, but it's strangely true. Our female…
