  • I got my muscle pulled while training and freaking out on my kids to answer the doorbell :# This gives me a lesson that u should not only be physically but also mentally realxed while training hard!
  • @TerezaToledo @Rayyn @empressichel thankyou for your words. These help keeping us in consideration. He have already started working on more of proteins ;)
  • Aww hope u get well soon!
  • Wow! Thats really amazing! Your consistency and trusting the process worked in favour of you. All the best.
  • @Sevio Wow! The inches lost sounds great! And congrats on losing that water weight ;) i love spinach!
  • After continuosly strength training for two months i went to a week break and eating according to new tdee. Lost 2.5 lbs of water weight. Will be back to working out from tomorrow with upping calories too.
  • Thats true. @beverlyriley900 we r a community and all under one roof. I hope we all get the satisfaction of joining in with the help of awesome guidance here. I feel free questioning myself however lame it would be :# thanx for tolerating us @TerezaToledo @empressichel @heybales @Raynn1
  • U r creeping close to your tdee. As far as i think u should keep increasing the calorie number and just forget about the weight. Those r just water fluctuations. Did your take your measurements? My measurements r the same with 6lb increase in weight since i first started increasing my calories. I've not yet hit my tdee but…
  • @misskitty0812 After years of cardio i too have totally skipped cardio and hiit in the last two months and feel great for strength training myself! I dont have to push myself and feel free to workout whenever i feel comfortable with my body and time. I'm not stressed out if i miss my strength session at any time of the…
  • Same here. I also workout fr online videos with my 16 and 20 lb dumbbells at home. I want to gain muscles and get out of this dieting concept which has followed me whole my life! I'm feeling myself much active and looking forward for results but i'll stay at my tdee for this winters i guess!
  • @TerezaToledo @Raynn1 It is a relief sigh reading this that its all up to me to bulk or not :) its my second week i'm eating at my Tdee. Planning to add one more workout day and increase Tdee this week. I'm adjusting to this journey and enjoying it anyway ;)
  • @empressichel @TerezaToledo Is it important to bulk in this system of cutting and maintaining or can i just go with eating at maintainence and then cut and then back to maintainence because i am just doing at home workouts and dont have any access to gym. Secondly i would not even like prefer bulking anyway!
  • @heybales while going through an article yesterday i read that body recomposition is not possible without calorie cycling! How much is this true? Should we also use calorie cyclying during a metabolism reset or be consistent with our numbers on rest days and workout days?

  • My new NSV. I've started using table spoon instead of teaspoon to feed myself :D
  • @empressichel So if we go on a rest week of workouts do we eat at the new tdee with rest or continue eating the same amount?

  • @Raynn oh ok! Thats clear.
  • @Raynn does this mean that we dont need to change our Tdee if we introduce cardio in our cut which in result increases our activity level?
  • 6 days i'm on my Tdee numbers fr EM2WL calculator (2085) and i'm up 2 lbs more. Since i've started upping my calories i've gained 4lbs,inches being the same. I know its water and glycogen retention due to more sodium and carbs as a result of more calorie intake. Focused.
  • Moving ahead this week i have changed my calorie goal to 2100.... since last two weeks i was on 1800 cal goal but my net calories counted as 1968 some days being over 2k. Now is the time to know my true Tdee so i'll check if i gain this week eating 2100 cals right? If not i should increase by 50-100 the next. Till now i'm…
  • As far as i think u r doing great! It was hard for me to quit cardio at first so i did it gradually and same with the calories. I planned to stay at those calories once my body will get accustomed to it and it did worked for the better! To my surprise, after bloating for a few days, my body demanded more food. And dont…
  • Thankyou so much for your supporting words as expected :)
  • Thanx @jerilynconn. U have been a long way! I've been following u the day u started and i tried to get through but could not continue. Maybe i was nt mentally ready then. I am not lifting much heavy just doing some strength workouts in my home gym. I'm looking forward to increase the weights in my dumbells i'm already…
  • @Tereza Thankyou for your support and response. I'm ready for all the ups n downs i would be having in my journey. I'm now mentally and physically ready for it specially when i know i have amazing ppl helping me out here!!sure u can share my thoughts anytime. I would too like ppl to know how exactly em2wl works
  • I agree with @Raynn here. I've gradually increased my cals 50-100 and from this week i'm at 1800. (Tdee is 2075 with 3-4workouts per week. I've totally skipped cardio.) I'm total 4lbs up and today measured my belly which has increased by two inches, on the other hand i feel my arms and upper body is much toned. Was…
  • @Tereza. The article is very informative!
  • Yes. I was a cardio woman but since i've started strength i've started loving it and would love to avoid cardio as much as possible coz i'm already moving around at home with kids and households. Also i would love to lower my workouts so as to find my TDEE as low as possible
  • Ok. Another question. Should i do a cardio or Hiit session once/twice a week while i'm increasing calories(doing a metabolic reset )or just stick with strength?
  • Thanx for your concern! Was bit busy lately but stayed consistent on my strength workouts. I've stepped on 1600-1700 cals since last week but hav not seen much significant changes yet. After almost 20 to 25 days 1/2 inches go down but are back after few days. Weight has been stuck at 4lbs gain.i'm doing 4 strength workouts…
  • I use 8 egg whites per day including yougurt chicken, milk and peanut butter but using whole eggs would up my fat intake. Should i still use eggs with the yolks?.
