Yup! i have seen changes happening after 6 weeks and then there is a halt. After giving two cuts at 8 wks i am aiming for 6 this time.
-
Lolz true!!

Yes it would take time and two weeks are not enough to expect any change in pics or inches. Be consistent for the next 4 weeks. I have ditched my scale and there was a time during my cut when i also ditched the measuring tape!! I take measurements every five to six week of cut after TOM and a rest day. What kept me doing…

@jvezzsb01 Thankyou! Till 6 weeks i feel reaaally hungry specially before bed but a little bit of protien snack or a cup of warm milk helps me sleep well during my cuts. I keep on increasing between 15% to 20% during my cut depending on workouts and non workout days but firstly listening to my body.If body demads more i…

3rd cut 6 weeks. 6.5 inches down. Specially happy for 1 inch down at the lower tummy area. First time in 4 months(Total7 months of em2wl) had a downward trend on scale of 2.5lbs. Will complete 8 wks and move on to the 4th cut after a week (or maybe 2 ) of full tdee. Being consistent is the key but need inner strength n…

As far as my experience is you should stick with a number. Your workouts included tdee and without workouts tdee. You should have your numbers in your mind and the cut values accordingly. Dont expect your clothes to get off you in your first two cuts. You have a lot of weight to lose,so u should be cutting longer. The body…

If the scale keep going up daily then its probably water retention and glycogen from the increased carbs u r consuming u cannot gain fat so soon. its just water fluctuations. see if your measurements are same and the clothes fit same, keep increasing those cals slowly till your tdee.

Yes i am 'all' the time inside home. i wanted to guesstimate my indoor steps. i go for morning walks but i would log them seperately on mfp.
-
I am so confused. Had the pacer app downloaded on my mob and counted my steps. As i am SAHM and kids much bigger i had my steps under 5000. Does that make me in the sedentary activity level Without counting the workouts?. Maybe i should re evaluate my activity level ,keeping it sedentary at mfp, enter the workouts and eat…

@CharlieBeansmomTracey and @usmcmp thanx for your advice. Would invest in a food scale real soon.

As i told that i was a yo yo dieter and used to eat below my bmr almost my whole life and could not maintain my weight loss even at 1200-1300 cals which shows a suppressed metabolism.
-
I am not sxale measuring but neasure food using cup method. i am currently at 1750 cals during cut and i maintain at 2250.if i go below 1750 i may get under my bmr which is 1600 according to my height and weight. I am following em2wl and they say that due to my suppressed metabolism i may need some time before seeing some…

Hi! Great thread! I'm 5'7 and i weighted 74kgs last year being a yo yo dieter for years(eating 12-1500 cal) and mom of 3. i went through a metabolic reset(i.e eating at tdee for 12wks) and gained back 13 kgs! Now i'm at 88kgs (193lbs approx) since February this year i've gone through 8 weeks cut at 20%. i strength train 3x…

Exactly! i dont try to explain anyone till now unless i set an example of myself infront of them! my sisters keep asking me if i'm still eating more while they r seeing me shrinking! Yes u need consistency and patience as it is a sllllooowww process.

@jvezzsb01 Well as i said before the measurements of the belly area are the same so shirts are not 'loose' around there but its not popping out too much as before.the inches are down at the arms and shoulders are much defined. Before, the thighs rubbing together due to fat was disturbing and i always hate that! now its a…

8 weeks almost complete into the second cut (including a rest week). First four wks i went down to 15%cut had no difference, scale went up 2 lbs. increased the cut for 20% for other 4 wks. Added some stress relieving walks for 20-30 mins with 3x strength workouts. Scale up another 2lbs. 6 Inches down!! one inch fr boths…

You are right there!! my kids do my measuring too! while i was in reset they used to comment on my double chin and bulging tummy but now they tell me that my tummy is getting harder and firmer and my neck is getting back its shape. My 13yo son came back after a stayover at his aunt for 5 days and noticed some weightloss…

@empressichel There is no difference in the inches and the scale has moved up but pictures show a little difference specially around the belly. I met my sister after almost two months and she noticed some weight loss in me. Sometimes ppl living with u and looking u daily cant see what others seeing u after some time can…

Wow what an inspiring update!! Did u read that Kiki's article " if u lose inches and the scale does nt move you r golden!!!pure fat loss baby!" Congrats! i did use the scale since i was resetting but after a week or two of my cut when the scale did nt move ive just totally ignored it. there r no inches or scale difference…

After my first cut of 5 weeks( including a rest week),i am at my maintenance week now. from Monday i'll be starting my second cut. Being consistent while ditching the scale!
-
welcome back and stick to it!

Just for some motivation, i'm on the fifth week of cut, first three were 10% i did not see 'any' change so dropped to 15% and this is my 2 week of 15 total five weeks of cut and still no drop in weight or inches, but i'm consistent and i know that first cut would might not show much results, on the other hand i saw some…
-
Yes! thats true! i cant see much change in my scale ,measurement and clothes during my first cut but something is getting me not to stop.what i see in the mirror is alot different than while i was increasing cals but the numbers r the same.Strange! I've also taken pictures in the same shirt and pictures show that the fat…

So should i skip the hiit i added in and keep doing strength 3x? well, the inches i lost seem to come back the third week (maybe some water retention) and not any significant change i see. i'm consistent with my macros and fiber though. i think i will keep at cut one more week and get back to maintenence.
-
@heybales Good point. Thanx for adding in.
-
Thankyou @zanyzana and @firefly0606 for your encouragement! and yes! i forgot to mention that these # are for each hand as i'm working out at home using dumbells and bodyweight excersices. i hope to continue to see results though!

Hello everyone.... am back with some progress and doubts! I completed my 12 weeks of eating at maintainence and my weight stabilized at 86 kgs at the start of jan when i lowered 100 from 2400 cals.so 2300 got to be my tdee. (somewhere between lightly active and moderately active)i really enjoyed eating at maintenance and…
