  • Great job! It is amazing how much a difference just 10 lbs can make. I lost about 10/15 lbs and had similar before and after pics. You look great!! Congrats!
  • My kids just came and asked if they could download this today. Looks like fun. We found a few in our neighborhood. We are going to go to our local park this afternoon and see if we can find more. They have a lot of walking trails so it ought to be fun to see what we can find.
  • When my kids were babies I loved my jogging stroller. When I had my 2nd child we got a double jogging stroller. It was nice for everyone to get out and enjoy the fresh air.
  • chicken, hot sauce, eggs, cheese and beer.
  • Our family loves to sit outside on the porch and watch a storm come up or watch it rain. Seems like that is what people do in the south. lol. Give me a good cold beer and an afternoon rain storm and I am in a happy place.
  • Congrats on getting back to your pre-preg weight and the baby! I had two c-sections (12 & 10 yrs ago). It pretty much boils down to lowering your BF% and genetics. I lost about 15 lbs (3 years ago) and was able to tighten up my stomach in the process. What worked for me was eating at a deficit, HIIT workouts and weight…
  • Just wanted to encourage you all to keep at it. Its a great workout. That DVD is what got me motivated 3 years ago to finally lose 15 lbs and I have been maintaining ever since. I still rotate that DVD along with a lot of Jillian's other workouts. You can do it!
  • I was not aware of this dilemma and I am 42. Make the best of what you have and be confident.
  • yes, I have done this too. I just use plain Quaker oatmeal I have in the pantry. You could use half bread crumbs and half oatmeal.
  • We love meatloaf in our family too. I love to take recipes and tweak them a bit to reduce sodium, cals, etc without compromising flavor. My first thought for your recipes above would be to use plain bread crumbs. The plain panko bread crumbs I have in the pantry has 50mg of sodium per 1/2 cup. That would help with the…
  • I saw a knock-off set of containers at Wal-mart the other day for $10. If you really want to go the container route then I would purchase them there instead of through BB. It just seems like too much work and cleaning of tupperware for me. I would purchase a food scale and log here on MFP instead.
  • I like to coat my chicken in hot sauce and then bread them with panko bread crumbs. I use the spray to help them not stick to the pan and to give them a bit of a crispy coat on top.
  • My favorite go-to grilled chicken recipes is so simple. Dijon Mustard, Honey and Soy Sauce. Sometimes I add some Sriracha sauce too. We have it at least once a week. I use different types of chicken to switch it up a bit. So good!!
  • I love Creole food too. I have a recipe I use when I make Jambalaya or Gumbo where you brown the flour in the oven until its a dark brown color. Then add it to your celery, onion, tomato mixture. It is so good and a great way to make it. I know some true Louisianians would think its totally wrong not to use oil or butter,…
  • Homemade grilled pizzas and beer. They were so good on Sunday, so we are doing them again tonight. I make my own pizza dough and shape them into individual pizzas, then cook the dough on the grill for a few minutes on each side. The topped them with marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, spinach, pepperoni,…
  • When I had a desk job years ago, I used to keep a small set of weights in the bathroom at work. It was a small office, so it was just me and this other lady that used the women's restroom. I would do arm exercises during each bathroom break. lol. sounds crazy, but it worked.
  • Swimming is the first thing that comes to mind when dealing with a knee injury. Boxing can also be a good workout without having to bend the knee too much. I agree with asking your doctor too. Maybe they can refer you to a good PT.
  • I like to steam my celery, onions, green peppers, etc in chicken broth. Gives them flavor without the oil. I use just enough to cover them and let them absorb the broth as they cook down, adding more broth if necessary.
  • Great job!! That is so awesome! You both look so happy!!
  • Just wanted to give you some encouragement to stick with it. The 30DS is what got me started and super motivated. She and MFP are what helped me lose 15 lbs and now I have been maintaining for 3 years. Don't worry if you have to modify, stop and take a break and get back at it. Its a great program. Try to hang with it and…
  • Great job!! You look fantastic!! What an awesome transformation!
  • Totally agree with this. I also do the modifier if I feel like I am going to die. lol. It's nice that they include that, so you can keep moving.
  • I mix it in with my other workouts depending on what I feel like doing that day. Great workouts for only 30 minutes. I like the additional ab workouts too.
  • If he likes taco salads, maybe try adding avocado, full fat sour cream, extra cheese, and extra helping of ground beef, etc. to his salad. If he hasn't had a check-up lately, then maybe that would help to make sure there are no underlying issues. If he is an otherwise healthy adult there is not much more you can do.
  • 2 eggs topped with shredded cheese 2 slices of bacon sriracha sauce grits strawberries and blueberries coffee
  • lol. Too funny! Sounds like my husband. He likes to listen to that type of music when he is working in the yard. Sometimes he sings so loud that the kids and I are worried the neighbors are going to hear him. Thank goodness we all have pretty big yards. Hopefully sound doesn't travel too far. :p
  • "I'm Sexy and I know It" by LMFAO. I love it when that song comes on Pandora during my workout. :p
  • In the 90's one of the diet fads was to keep your fat grams under 20 per day. So sad to think back at that now. Gotta have my fat. :p
  • I use an egg slicer to slice them, then put them in the microwave for about 10 seconds if we want to eat them warm. Otherwise, we just have them cold.
  • You look amazing! What a cute swimsuit!!
