  • Agreed on the eating too little and not eating back cals. The weight you lose is muscle weight as well as fat/water loss. I had pretty decent muscles under my fat and they completely disappeared while I lost weight, I did it the wrong way and I think that's why I've still got some on my stomach now. I'm gonna find me a way…
  • I did one last September while I was a still a bit unfit by my standards. I'm doing it again mid August to benchmark my fitness levels. I do he clitheroe triathlon, the bike is all uphill with a 1 mile 865m climb halfway..evil.
  • Same age, I think it's about just how big you were and how long you were that big, it's not just age (more likely you've been fatter for less time though) I was 21 stone I've still got skin and I have a bit on my underarms like you say when I put my arms out wide, it is a LOT better from strength training though, I've been…
  • Not quite true, depends how long you've been large. If I hadn't had done a lot of training I'd have had a lot of it, now I've just got a bit on my stomach which I'm trying strength training on (lifting HEAVY!) Can't say enough, lots of cardio and strength training and you won't have a problem, especially the weights!
  • Are these good for doing a cut? If anyone knows that is.. I would never take them for weight loss but for fat loss during a cut to get abs etc out?
  • She's alive I've seen her posting on facebook. She's probably just out enjoying herself :)
  • Woohoo my new drinking partner, get ready for shenanigans!
  • Otherwise you'll just go off the rails..you've gotta have some moderation but telling someone to cut something out for life? Remember, lifestyle change..not a diet.
  • I only have it with rum. Yumyum
  • 294lb or 21 stone depending on what country you reside in :) I'm now 163
  • I know what you mean. There's certain people that I played games and stuff with when I was a bit younger like online games and I played for hours on end with them, would talk to them over microphone etc some of them I knew better than friends that I had in person. Some of them just dissappeared one day without a word and…
  • For me: Buying new clothes Proper male grooming? What is this?! Losing friends (lost quite a few that couldn't accept it or even tried to sabotage it) Being just as body concious as I was before?! Trying to find who I am, my entire life has been turned upside down, I don't do any of the things I used to and I don't see…
  • Ah please do :) would be happy to hear some results from real people sort of thing. My stomach is a bit dodgy at times so I don't really want to unsettle it too much.
  • I'm really wary of these things increasing your heart rate in an abnormal way or making your kidneys work harder than they normally would, that's why I ask the above before I put anything into me.
  • I was going to ask something similar, I'm not looking to cut or anything it's just generally out of interest.. I've seen a couple of people on my wall that are taking something called Thermopure and from their pictures their hard work and supplements are paying off. I'm guessing I really don't need them since my diet is…
  • To me it seems to be two different issues. 1. Is that a couple were only sexually compatible, for example they got down to things pretty quick, chemistry was there sexually and it progressed from there, that little spark fizzles out and they end up looking elsewhere for it (because all they had in common was being sexually…
  • Just saw mates posting it on facebook. If you go through the pics it's just a regular thing they do but you have to sign a disclaimer and everything haha!
  • Oh to add to this.. Southern Eleven are doing a promo this weekend, Manchester vs Food. £26 apparently it's 1 kilo of food plus chips. I'm SO gonna take it. I've eaten a whole chicken to myself with 4 bread rolls that should be easy!
  • Dealbreaker. I'd be out the door in a second.
  • I could so have a damn good go at that. I managed 10 rashers of bacon, an entire french stick (like the large ones that are half the size of you) 5 sausages and 4 eggs on sunday, could have probably rammed a little more in but I didn't want to be sick. Perfect recovery food!
  • Interesting.. would like to see a response to that! Most of the time I'd never contact again unless it was someone's health then I'd just ask if they were ok out of courtesy more than anything. My principle is the same as yours.
  • Oh yeah I had the goddaughter had kidney problems so had to go, text me tomorrow I really want to go out..text her to see how the goddaughter was, got a she's fine thanks, ignored the stuff about another date and didn't ever text me back..fair enough :x Not a date but 2 weeks ago I was at a festival, I lost a bet so had to…
  • I have given some awful, awful excuses that I wouldn't even put on here. To be fair I've never done it like 15 mins before it's usually like a day or so in advance. One or two I feel REALLY bad about even now, one I did make it up to because I felt that bad about it, just not as a date. As for excuses, you can't get past…
  • I spend WAY more now I'm eating healthily. I'm trying to eat as much as I did before but healthily though so that's probably why (lifting etc) I spend an absolute fortune on food people are horrified. I think last time I worked it out I was eating a family of 3/4's budget to myself..
  • One of my favourite balanced breakfasts is blueberries with museli with yoghurt. Pretty low calorie and carb (the museli all you need is like 30g it's not that high carb) The yoghurt makes it really tasty and with the sweetness of blueberries it's just amazing, feels quite solid when you eat it because the museli absorbs…
  • Did my 2nd session last night. Felt like I absolutely killed myself then needed to get somewhere fast so I did a 6/7 mile round trip sprint on my bike, the combo of squats and that should have made it so I could barely walk today but to be honest they feel better than they did yesterday when I hadn't been to the gym since…
  • I think what Carl was saying is pretty bang on. There is one small thing I'd say though and that's women seem to be getting better in these situations at least locally to me anyway. I've heard of quite a few instances where it's the guy that's got attached and it seems to be occuring more often than it used to. I've had…
  • Sounds like I need to add stiff leg deadlifts into my routine. I don't mind doing that when I'm only doing 3 compound exercises per session.
  • I'm gonna avoid cycling on lifting days, some days I can barely move my legs I do myself in that much cycling, I'm on the limit too much to do both. I figured it's just something I don't work as much so I'll look into doing a bit of extra work on it.
  • Mate where I live is one of the flattest parts around, there's literally 4 hills on my 20 mile round trip and they're tiny.
