I find that if I put in my ear buds (or headphones) and walk, do aerobics, lift weights, whatever, it goes by quicker and I don't mind the sweat near as much. The poster who said ya gotta sweat is right: raise the heart rate for a 30 minute block of time and you'll see the fat go down!

I've been here 5 or 6 weeks and am down 43 lbs. Do not EVER give up or surrender!!! Go walk, it's a great way to start (what I did), low impact and you can adjust how much you hurt. I started MFP this week. I've been over weight my entire life, and have been on most every diet you could name. I'm hoping that working it slow and steady can help me make it work. I'm happy to friend up anybody willing to help me on my journey!
