it takes me 4-5 weeks of consistant focus to see any difference on the scale. focus on the inches your loosing vs. the pounds and that will help keep you motivated. and in just a short time you will start to *feel* better and better every day:)

i set a goal before i start as to how far i am going to go. i know if i set the goal, i have to do it. plain and simple:)

try interval training to boost your metabolism, and get a heart rate monitor to accurately track the calories you burn. i would also focus on the quality of the food vs. the calories in the food.

munch on some veggies or fruit... pickles are great. they have a lot of flavor and not many calories:)

the most accurate way to calaculate your calorie burn is to get a heart rate monitor. i got one at target and it's been great because on some things it says i burn more than mfp and on other's it says i burn less. its all about the effort you put in:)
