I lost my streak when we went on a cruise. I managed to log in while we were at the hotel for a few days before getting on the ship, but once we were at sea, the streak was gone. At first I was a bit upset about it because I had almost 400 days, but I enjoyed the cruise and it was kinda nice not to have to worry about…

Maintaining is proving to be harder to figure out than losing the weight was, it seems to be a real trial and error process that can be more errors than anything else. Would love to have more friends in the maintenance process too. Feel free to add me. Laura

I don't eat back my extra. I consider them a bonus and only eat some of them if I am tired or very hungry. I also understand what you mean by 1200 calories can be hard to reach some days. I try to go with lower calorie and more filling foods, so sometimes, I find myself having a couple of cookies or a piece of chocolate at…

Why give up, you lost 33 lbs and you want to throw all that success away because of 1 pancake???? If you haven't had a carb in 3 months no wonder your body is craving it. I have lost weight eating what I want, just within the calorie allotment. Yes that includes coffee with cream, bread, and chocolate. If you give up…

I am the same height as you, I set my goal at 140 but I have been considering changing it to 135 too. I am going to wait and see how I look and feel at 140 and decide from then. The only real thing I can say is that muscle weighs more than fat, so where you end up being healthy and comfortable will depend on how muscular…

check your activity levels too, if you have it set to low, it wont be giving you enough calories for your usual activities. You should also try to eat back some of the extra calories you are earning from your workouts. I stalled for a couple of weeks and looked back at my food diary and realized I was eating to little,…

Your diet looks fine to me, I have cut way down on potatoes, rice and pasta but have not eliminated them. I love bread but switched to a light rye bread. I also include other stuff that I love, like chocolate (in small portions but it keeps me sane. As long as you keep your calories in below your calories burned and your…

I love ice cream and chocolate too, when i'm craving it, I promise myself I can have it tomorrow, then leave room for it in my calorie totals, that way I have to earn it but I still get to give into the craving. welcome to mfp, I sent you an add, having friends on here is a huge help.

no biggie, let it go and start again tomorrow, a little cheat every once in a while is normal and its not the end of the world.

Realizing it, and taking steps to address it is a huge step. You should be proud of yourself for making changes. I have gotten into the habit of grabbing my phone to enter the food everytime I eat or drink something and it has made a huge difference to my eating habits. When you have to enter the food and see everything…

I weigh myself on Sundays when I wake up (after the washroom and before I eat or drink anything). I work shifts and they can play havoc on the normal fluctuations. I find if I stick to that pattern I get the best results. Sometimes I will get on the scale on other mornings when I'm curious, but always on Sundays.

I started in January, just jumped in and started, I have found that most foods are in the database, and it is easy to add what isn't there. Once I got the hang of entering food, it got a lot easier to keep track of things. Just remember to enter everything you eat (even the little things) and the exercise too. I have the…
