No. What's the point of continuing with the relationship when the trust and respect is no longer there? I am worth more than being with a person who would do such a thing.

Less sodium. That's all I got. It seems to be doing the trick. And drink more water.(I'm SURE you knew I was going to type that). I try to have a glass in between meals and after. Good luck.

This. I feel the same way. At the same time I am getting in shape for myself, my partner will just enjoy the product of my hard work..

Misery loves company. Just stick to what you are doing and ignore them, in time when you are all awesome looking they will be the ones embarrassed.
-
Hubby should love you through thick and thin.

Huh? A break.. well I usually do go a day every week or so without logging and then the next day I log everything down. I think this helps me keep track otherwise I know I'll just go over portions, sugar and salt. ALL of which I'm working on keeping under control.

This. Don't put all your focus into losing a pound or however much during the week. As long as you do your workouts and eat your meals, whatever they may be, you'll see results eventually. I honestly think the slower the better, if you lose too fast you may gain it back faster.

Don't worry, you won't get a waistline like that because you aren't THAT person. None of us are shaped the same nor are going to look the same by the time we reach our end result. It's something to aspire to I must say.

It's not a big deal to have a pancake, you CAN eat the same foods as he does, just not the same portion. Take it upon yourself to cook better options, and better yet for the both of you. As long as you do your workouts and eat better meals for the rest of the day, it's ok, food is not your enemy. Don't expect eating better…

I agree. You get better results when you eat better AND workout. One helps the other. Kind of sucks some people haven't gotten to that conclusion..

Cooked my breakfast (pancakes, an egg, half a sausage and a side salad.) The salad I ate while cooking.. did the dishes, mopped the floor, then walked the dog. All in all it was a good morning.

I don't have an issue from stopping myself from eating, usually if I feel full or satisfied I stop and drink water that being done it takes away to urge for me to eat.
-
Hmmm, I made pancakes this morning, ate them and they were wonderful. I might have some later. If that's how you feel then you failed and you won't succeed. Start thinking about what you can do to feel and do better to be able to move on and not give up.

This. You need to have more fuel in your body because of your 2 a day workouts. The more food you eat the more energy you have and the better your workouts will be.

"Lifting Heavy" for me means feeling stronger as time goes on. I see ( or don't in this case) many women at my gym who don't lift anything heavier than 10lbs.. sucks. I on the otherhand am not afraid, my body is slimming and toning and it feels good. So women pick it up and feel the power!

It's a bid goal, get ready for hard work in that case. For your butt, try walking up hills or if on a treadmill put it on an incline to start, bigger arms, not sure really.. I do push ups mostly and lift a bag of rice up and down lmao. It's easier to have smaller goals which will make it easier to achieve especially in…

I think it's ok. I tend to dedicate one day to each just because I like to focus on a particular workout.

Hi, In my case, I bought better snacks, the baked chips to start with that came in the small individual bags and the single serve snack items. I switched from soda to water and bought a liquid water enhancer. All these items have helped me understand how to eat better and what I can actually do without. Give yourself time,…

If I may ask, what are "normal things?" I'm sure someone somewhere does that though.

I haven't had a problem since logging on to this site. It has been very helpful to me. I have seemed to have found a balance of eating and working out that works for now. This site is meant to help you keep track of what you already eat, it doesn't tell you to change your diet to anything except portion control. If you…

Ooops. I'm glad I found this forum. How would you track miles you walk/run?
-
Feel your pain. But don't let it control you! If you ignore the pain it will go away or at least not suck as much. Get up and get moving the next time around it comes by. Don't wallow in that " I have my period" bubble, even I hate that. Working out helps it not suck as much, in the mean time aleve, advil and water water…

I am 20lbs away from my goal weight, the end result is what keeps me motivated.
-
I vote for this.
-
. In other news I am curvy and thick and I think I look awesome, I tell myself every morning before I leave the house.
-
*Sad* I CAN'T REMEMBER!! So tomorrow I will buy and eat "junk."
-
Yeah, my vote is for this.

I've gone as a guest once or twice before and it's just boring. The only thing I think they are good for are the cardio machines. Try and see if there are other gyms available in your area, or maybe workout from home? Can't beat THAT deal, it's free.

Seek a second opinion. And another vote for trusting your mom instincts.

H*ll yeah! I'm offended if I don't see EVERYONE sweaty lol, I expect it out of those that are supposed to be working hard or just working. I'd say just go and workout, no one cares. Really.
