  • You'll be back to your pre-pregnancy weight/body in no time, heck you'll look even better than before. I'm sure he ment no harm with that comment. Speak to him about it so he knows how you feel, you'll feel better too. You can't ignore someone and expect them to understand why you are doing so.
  • Go you for getting that job! Ignore the world. Clearly they saw potential in you that you got the job. Now hold your head up when you start your training!
  • I only really glance at the Nutritional information should I feel the need to go to a fast food restaurants. I figure if I want to eat it, I'm not really worried what the oz are or the grams, or the calories really, I work out hard most days and I'm mindful of my portions now and aware of what I am putting into my body…
  • I dont' think it's reasonable. Why the need to lose at this rate? You have plan that seems good to me, I say just stick to that until the weight comes off.
  • Ha! You found your way, don't worry I'm sure most of us learned how to navigate the same way our first time on this site. Welcome and good luck.
  • They don't belong there, she does. She should be proud to be doing better for herself.
  • I want to look awesome naked. I want to look awesome in a two piece bathing suit. I want to look awesome for myself. I want to be able to wear short shorts, well fine, regular shorts will do. To prove to myself that I am able to change in a hectic world and that nothing will keep me from my goal.
  • I've been there. It's possible to eat out and make better choices from the ones that are available. It's possible to include more activities in your day. We all fall of track every so often, but it's how you move FORWARD that matters. If you continue to do so you may not be as dedicated as you thought you were. Sit down…
  • Don't worry it will go away, just not as fast as you would like it to.. Eat less salt, at a deficit, and continue with your workout.
  • Someone tell my bf it's ok to poop? My secret is, I stay away from bags of cookies and chips, and juice and soda. I buy single serve everything. Really, other than that mind your business. Watch what you eat and sweat like your life is in danger 6 times a week. You'll be among us folk who will live longer and look awesome.
  • I did a set of squats with the free weight bar not the machine! It was only the bar.. but it's JUST the beginning, I'd like to see how much I will be able to squat in the coming weeks.
  • Work to tone. Eat better and at a deficit, you'll be ok.
  • ...*mind blown* Whoa. I eat at night sometimes if I find that I feel hungry but I stay within my calorie limits. The time you eat I feel has nothing to do with your weight gain.
  • Starting Weight for challenge: 163 Current Weight: 159 How much you aim to lose before June1st: 2lbs Pounds left: 2 It's tough I have to say but the reward is oh so satisfying!
  • Every pair of pants I put on enhanced a muffin top I didn't realize I had. Then those pants no longer fit...
  • SO glad I'm not the only one with that problem. I find it very annoying also, I tend to use body glide also, but buying thin shorts is easier for me because I just put them on and forget it and don't have to reapply anything for the day. I'm working on slimming my thighs so in the long run they won't rub!
  • Best: You are looking thinner! Worst: You still need to lose the pooch.. Sure, WAY easier said than done.
  • I'm able to run/walk without getting winded I feel less of me jiggles when I run/walk I don't worry about that muffin top look when I sit down anymore I can wear a fitted shirt and not feel uncomfortable I can wear LIGHT colored bottoms because my butt/legs looks better
  • My hips slimmed first, then my waist, my stomach is following.. Working on the lower abs, heaven help me it's the hardest thing to get rid of is the fat that is there. Don't want to lose my boobies as there is not much there already.. :)
  • Speak to a doctor/nutritionist or someone who specializes in the sensory problem that you have. As good as those said food items are you do need more items in your diet. Maybe try smoothies I saw someone comment on that or vegetable juices/fruit juices. If not this then maybe take supplements.
  • Take care of yourself, since no one else cares. Take it upon yourself to get back on track stay there and lose the weight you gained. I myself lost 10 and gained 20, so now I'm here struggling I have to stay but I'm determined to not let the fat (or lack of support from people not on this site) get me down. I believe you…
  • I sweat WAY more during my workouts than ever before. Which in return makes me drink more water... my skin does feel/look nicer as well.
  • I found a park that has a trail with gravel and is well populated during the day. I can run in a circle for miles without a care as to oncoming traffic and that makes me happy. The people who are there are also doing the same thing I am, being that everyone is in the same space they stick to their stuff and I to mine -…
  • Anything negative weighs you down and prevents you from moving forward in your life. Since being on MFP I have felt myself stand taller and feel more determind to move on from things and people that hold me back. Fear comes from not knowing what to expect, BUT if you confront that fear that makes you THAT much stronger. I…
  • I thought that's why most of us are here... anyhow, yes I think that's how its supposed to go in order to lose weight. I'm particular about my food not really picky but I do understand where you are coming from. As long as you don't have a poor diet that is lacking in nutrition or vitamins or whatnot you should be fine.
  • Yeah... I've been there, it sucks. It's easier to wear skirts and dresses but then you have to shave your legs or use the cream.. I'm slimming my thighs slowly with a combination of strength training cardio and a better eating plan, I'd like to speed it up, but I can't lol. In time I will add that we will no longer be…
  • Map of the Problematique - Muse something not too easy or hard on the ears, helps me keep a nice pace while still offering that needed pump for running.
  • Nope. At least from what I can see most my friends here on MFP have very good habits with being active and logging on and most don't go that long without logging on.. my friends OUTSIDE this site... now THAT is a different story..
  • It sounds like you are doing what you can, and pretty much that's all you CAN do. Do you, hopefully you will inspire her to stop being so negative and use that energy to succeed.
  • A combination of exercise and a calorie deficit. There really is no other way to get rid of fat than just plain hard work and dedication.
