definitely change up your workout. start incorporating strength training. if you have an iPhone, i LOVE the Nike Training Camp app.. they have great workouts. make sure you're eating enough calories.. your NET cals should be close to 1200.

the best dessert i've had.. rum-soaked bread pudding from The Captain's Tavern in the Coral Gables area of FL. *FAINTS*

take a deep breath. another one. ANOTHER ONE. :) relax, and realize that you CAN do this. it takes some work and dedication, but the reward it totally worth it. weight-loss is a journey, take it one step at a time. i find that using MFP keeps me on track, keeps me accountable and on the ball with my calorie intake and with…

you've come to the right place. :) since i started actively using MFP, i haven't had a "bad eating days" and haven't slacked at the gym. friends on here are motivating, and i feel like i'm letting them down if i'm not on the ball. it's like being held accountable!

everything leads back to just wanting to feel great about yourself.. no reason is a stupid or 'bad' reason. getting in shape will make you healthier in more ways than just physically. :)
-
add some high-fiber veggies to your omelet!

i asked my doctor what a 'healthy' weight for my heigh would be.. i'm 5'9, so anywhere between 145-160 is considered a healthy weight. I'm currently 151, trying to get to about 140.. but i'm really judging by what i look like. i want to be fit, in shape, with a flat tummy.. if i end up weighing more or less than 140,…

LOL! i bought new clothes during late spring, and they're all too big for me now, too! great feeling.
-
i like making mini-pizzas.. arnold's sandwich thins, a little sauce (or salsa!), cheese, veggies, whatever you like!
-
green tea seems to give me a great kick in the morning. before workouts, i have a PowerBar Simple Engery bar.. i have crazy energy the entire time at the gym!

when you're nearing the end of your journey, and you're close to your 'goal weight', focus on being satisfied with what your body looks like. i'm 5'9", currently 151lbs.. by goal is 140, but i still feel like i have a gut. i'm focusing on flattening my tummy now, and paying less attention to the scale.

every so often, i have a week or two of ravenous eating. it's terrible. i know i'm making bad choices, but i still do it. the only way to get over that period is to just force yourself! i start small - i tell myself, "you WILL have two healthy meals a day for the next week." the next week, i make myself have three healthy…

LOL! hm.. i'd love to know if this does work.
-
i usually do about 45-60mins of cardio (elliptical, bike) and then 30DS.
-
can you share your love-handle exercises!? i need some new ones.

nuts are the way to go! high cals, healthy fats.. granola, cheese, unsweetened dried fruits, peanut butter - all good options!

you're not alone. you've got all of us. :)

SUPER BUMP! this sounds amazing. i'm ready to leave work and make these. omg.

red pepper flakes for some heat. honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract for some sweet. :)

starvation mode doesn't mean you'll look* malnourished.. from what i understand, it means that your metabolism decreases an extreme amount. i was thinking the same thing, "i have a lot of fat to burn before i go into starvation mode!" but that's not the case. i just upped my calorie intake from 1200 to 1500. i burn about…

NTC- Nike Training Club.. absolutely AMAZING! I also like Tempo Magic (or something like that..) to speed up the songs on my iPod so they're perfect for all workouts, no matter how intense or light i want them. :)
-
stay away from anything "tempura". try to stay away from rolls made with cream cheese, the calories add up! ask for brown rice, too. i usually only get a salmon roll, topped with wasabi. sometimes, i get the salmon cooked in teriyaki sauce. one roll is about 210 cals, i think. (white rice, plain salmon, uncooked)

today i had oatmeal with sliced almonds, tbsp of peanut butter, splenda, cinnamon & vanilla extract. YUM. other days, i usually have greek yogurt with granola, berries and honey.

i want to GAIN A BUTT! i live in squat-city in hopes of having a booty one day!
