I have to say I didn't typically "follow" anything, I made up my own but basically I just eat real food. That's pretty much it. I did 40/30/30 for Carbs/Protein/Fat and just tried to follow those standards. The more protein and less sugar I consumed the less hungry I felt and the less cravings I had.

It really is SO difficult!! I remember crying in my OBGYN's office just begging for help. The rapid weight gain was nothing like I had ever experienced. Also although a lot of women suffer from it there is not a lot of knowledge about it. I did read so many amazing books throughout this process though and now probably know…

I don't really follow a specific "diet" per se. I just did a lot of research on my own and found that diets low in carbs are best for PCOS so I muddled through it until I found what works for me. I do low carb, no added sugar, no alcohol. I also stay away from dairy (except cheese, I love cheese - of all kinds) and drink…

Thank you!! I didn't really use a specific diet, I just did my own thing. My food choices are pretty basic and boring. Lean proteins, vegetables, fruits occasionally. Homemade condiments. No added sugar. No alcohol. Lots of fresh herbs and spices for flavor. :smile:

I didn't really have a problem staying motivated, the further in the better I felt, the more I wanted to keep going. I was so ready for a change though. I have been on MFP since 2011 so I have been yo yo'ing back and forth for a while. This time was for good!
