Personally no...but I do have a close family friend that lost over 100+ lbs. She did get surgery. I know she had her arms done, stomach area and around her neck. She's an amazing women, always has been. It was crazy to watch her transform herself over the years. Her spirit shined more and more as she reached goals and…

I'd start again Monday....only because knowing me, I'd lose my motivation after a week! Good job! and Good luck! P.S...what's the insanity workout? lol I just do lots and lots of classes at my gym.

Are you using a personal HRM or just going off from what MFP says? I ask this because MFP is just an estimate and typically when people use their own HRM to track their calories they realize that typically the number is close to 1/2 of what MFP estimates. Plus having such a huge range of calorie intake from day to day…

AMAZING! Good job!

I'm not sure about that! Especially after what you ate/drank for the week! hahahah Anyways that's awesome though!

LOL I loved reading this! Because I know what you mean! DANG SCALES!!!! Hope you see changes (in the other direction) soon.... Good luck

Best of luck! AND CONGRATS! A lot can change in a month with good nutrition and fitness. I say throw out the scale and just go off measurements. Scales sometimes don't budge when the measurements are! Hope all the best for you in your goals and future :)

You said it! 200 is 200. However what are your goals? Do you have dates for those goals? Are you counting calories? If your goal was to get to 200 calories no matter how you got there...then awesome and good job! Don't worry about what others say is better, because it is different for everyone and their personal goals.…

You can get pretty cheap ones (40-100 bucks) at Target. Lot's cheaper then the ones they try and sell you at the gym.

Personal HRM are much much MUCH more accurate then the ones on the machines. But we must also remember that those to are just an estimate. As are the calories we log. But it's great that you got your own HRM! Don't let it let you down that you didn't know you were over eating when going off the machine and MFP…

Apples are a great sources of extra energy.. supposedly equivalent to a cup of coffee. Bananas are full of potassium, so if you are looking for something to help with that, maybe a potassium supplement. That's what I take when I start noticing cramps from running. Good luck!

Best of luck! A great way to fit in some extra exercises during the day is small workouts at your desk. You can do a lot! Dips, lunges, stretching, push ups....all kinda looks funny to others passing your office...but like people where I work, they get use to it. And it rubs off on a few! Also I switched my desk chair with…

Hope it heals up soon! NO FUN! I'd probably just ask my doctor about the working out stuff. You don't want to over do it, hurt yourself, or get worse then you are. Good luck, and don't worry I'm sure you'll be back to 100% and working out in no time!

I'd maybe try adjusting what I eat, and my workouts. My target calorie intake is 1200. And I workout 5-6 days a week for 1 hour minimum. Which typically is around 800 calories. Then whatever else I burn at work and home I don't even count on here. I just go off calories from actually "working out." Don't let the scale…

I'd just make sure you are consistent with how you log it. Maybe edit your log book for that time period like another has mentioned. I did that for my book to fit all my snacks. Here's mine: breakfast, am snack, lunch, pm snack, dinner, post workout.

Welcome! I agree that this is a great site to have as support, motivation and extra information. GOOD LUCK!

I totally understand what you are saying. You need to look at what is important to you. You CAN have the best of BOTH worlds! The man and a healthy body. I was pretty OCD with working out and watching my caloric intake last summer, fall and winter. Started a relationship about 5 months ago...and well....he's a great guy…

I know it's frustrating when the numbers on the scale don't budge...but what about your measurements? Is your body changing at all? I know that for me the scale will hover around 5lbs while my measurements go down...then the scale will change some..then the measurements. I like to go by the numbers on my tape measure more…

Ah sooo frustrating! Keep your head up...you can do it! I'd throw out the larger pairs. Why? Well think of being able to go shopping for maternity clothes as an award for being prego! Then when it happens you can get cute, stylish maternity clothes that fit you properly :) Plus I always feel that having the larger sizes…

I'm doing the same thing this Saturday! GO TWINS!!!

I wouldn't have thought of adding an avocado either....but I guess it's a great source of healthy fat. Good Idea, I'm going to give it a try some time. And I LOVE the unsweetened Almond milk, I just started using it a couple weeks ago.

Awesome work! You look so happy in your current pics....keep it up :)
