I don't experience pain, but I do have the horrid bloating. As long as I haven't eaten anything my belly is normal(for an overweight person with too much belly), but the second I drink a glass of water or eat, I look like I'm carrying twins:sad: and it's really annoying. I didn't have any 'female' problems at my last…

I'm the same way although I often work out while in front of the tv.

I'm not sure, but I feel ya - I'm really busy at home too and sometimes I break my stationary biking up too, but I try to keep my speed at 14-16mph on incline #7...gradually working my way up to #8. I also have to break up my push ups because there is no way NOW that I can do it all at once:noway: , but I'm working on it.…

I'll be trying to work some type of miracle on my hair after my workout:grumble:, cleaning the house, and watching tv as usual - really sets the mood. Actually I never do anything special on this day:noway: ...just keep the bills paid and we're good:blushing: :smokin:

I don't think they're useless either. I use them sometimes while on the stationary bike to get some upper body movement. When I first started lifting(the regular way), I did do a lot of reps, but later I started using both weights in one hand until I could get some heavier ones...takes a little longer doing one arm at a…

Maybe family and friends are a little wary because they are not sure how to word their compliments in order to avoid offending sometimes, but in the meantime, get your congrats from the mfp fam - CONGRATS on all of your hard work and droppin' it like it's hot - WOOT!!!:flowerforyou:

vodka with crystal light lemonade or even cheaper great value lemonade mix freaking rocks...no more than 60 cals a pop - I've been cracking up all day in the forums. I don't do this often but I definitely picked the right day today...still trippin' on dude under the drink machine

Yep, that was awesome! Still tripping on the 'tea bagging', you guys made my night, THANKY!!!!

I used to love the rock group "The Black Crowes" (hope I spelled it right), and I would blast thru the house one of my favorites "So Hard to Handle". There was a little breakdown segment in the song that said in a quick and syncopated manner - 'pretty lil thang, let me light your candle cause mama I'm so hard to handle' ,…

Same here, only it takes more days to go back down for me. I drinks tons of water though.:drinker:

I have been working on my belly for the longest time, but it's extra hard because exactly 2 weeks before my period starts, my already too big belly morphs into a 12 month baby bump. I am horrified at the same time each month - especially when I'm not aware that TOM is on it's way because of menopausal and pms symptoms…

Try not to beat yourself up. I too have occasional binges - usually on carbs. I work out quite a bit, scale isn't moving but the inches are, so I guess a shock to the body every once in a blue moon won't kill us...we all have days like this!:flowerforyou:

OMG this was funny, and the one about the butter eating grass too, I was feeling really crappy this morning so thanks for cheerinig me up! Btw, I drink sodas every now and then. Years ago I drank them daily - BACK WHEN I WAS SLIM - and since the atmosphere is filled with chemical and pollutants:smokin: maybe our bodies…

Tee hee - too cute!!!

BOY am I glad I came back to this topic!!!! I was almost sold on the wraps(probably out of impatience), but I have noticed for the past cpl of weeks of doing interval training I actually have lost off of my belly, but I WASN'T doing the right thing with the carbs. I use the whole grains and all, but I crave them at night…

Wow, I remember those pics being posted, but I can't remember her name either! Amazing!!!

I have belly problems too, but working on it. I agree with one of the others who is doing planks and standing crunches - lots of cardio helps of course, but I also do strength training. Patience is key although I would just love to wake up tomorrow and have abs of steel, but all we can do is what we can to the best of our…

Awesome accomplishment! You will inspire many more people, congrats!!:flowerforyou:

I hate the fact that the belly seems to be the last thing to go aside from the batwings of which I have both. I really hate the fact that although my youngest child is three years old - I STILL LOOK PREGNANT!!! :ohwell:

Awesome post!

Vodka with crystal light or great value lemonade mix, but my first love is beer....gotta bud light?:drinker:

Most kids just say the first thing that comes to mind without meaning any harm. On the other hand you have those that really are trying to be hurtful. I feel that they have not been taught better by their parents and maybe are trying to make someone else feel bad to make themselves feel better...Some adults are the same…

I am the exact same way, HATE IT, but got a stationary bike and been on it for the past 10 or so months ever since...I still don't work out as much as I should, because I'll do great for a month and then slack off, but I've got to do it because I want my body to change along with my health...I like to find something that I…

I don't do a fraction of the running that you do although I have had the shin splints before and they suck! I read on a thread before that you can rub ice on the shin bones which does help. I also saw another tip in which you can sit down and write the alphabet(imaginary) with both of your feet at the same time and I do…

Hi, and yes I have that problem sometimes. I can be due to inner ear issues but with me, I can get motion sickness just by WATCHING something go around in circles...I really hate it when my kids ride merry-go-rounds, lol. I've noticed now that when the news goes across the bottom of the tv screen and I've read it…
