I also hate that I have to keep buying new clothes. I keep wearing the bigger shirts but I have had to buy smaller panties and pants because the bigger ones kept falling off. I have a great idea for the no money for clothes. If you have friends around your size you could always do a clothing swap. Everyone brings clothes…

Losing weight at 1-2 pounds is the best way to make it a lifelong journey and not just a crash diet. Losing it slowly you will be able to keep it off and not gain it back, because if you were losing it more quickly you would more than likely gain the weight back. Good luck on your journey and you are doing it the right way.

You could get a pedometer that measures not only your steps but also the distance that you have walked.

I lost 45 pounds before I went down a size. I am having trouble losing weight in my waist, I am losing in every place but my waist. It totally stinks. Good luck on your journey and do not give up.

I was diagnosed in 2007 with pcos. feel free to add me. Some tips would be to watch your carb intake and sugar intake because of the insulin resistance that comes with pcos. Be active.

I too have pcos and what I have found that has worked for me is watching my caloric intake and make sure that I exercise. The big thing that I watch though is how many carbs and how much sugar I take into my body each day. I have lost 35 pounds so far doing this.

Congrats on your progress so far and teaching your kids about healthy eating.

Be careful with being on the depoprovera shot for more than 2 years because it breaks down your bones. I was taken off of it because of that and the weight gain that I experienced from it.

Yay that is great to hear. We just recently found out that my sister has non-hodgkins lymphoma stage 4 and it has spread to her blood and bones. We are hoping for a miracle at this point. I am so glad that you have beat this monster.
