  • Lol, I am a Bears fan too and I was really tempted to root for the Steelers to beat GB too, but there are just so many annoying Steelers fans around here that i just could not stand the thought of joining them. So I am just going to watch the game and root for the commercials.
  • I'm not going to lie, I've got a tub of Helluva Good Dip in my Fridge with my name on it, and a bag of reduced fat (a moot point with that dip) Ruffles. And I'm planning on ordering a bunch of chicken wings... and maybe a pizza. Like I have said before, I'm not a very good roll model for this website... Oh and, GO…
  • Lol, This kind of reminds me of the exact opposite situation that I have been in for the last few years. Back when I was younger (and much lighter) I used to wear tons of baggy loose fitting clothes (as was the style at the time) and now all of the clothes that I still have from back then just fit me normally. It's kind of…
  • Funny you should post this today. We had a birthday party for a co-worker today and it was almost impossible to refuse a piece of cake and ice cream. Not to mention they ordered subs from a philly cheesesteak place for everyone... ack. Soo good, but I know it had to be so bad for me. I got a turkey sub but they put so much…
  • Same here except with Salteen Crackers... Mmm soup
  • "The Final Countdown"
  • I'm no expert in the subject but last week I read a thread here on MFP that seems like it might be applicable to your situation. Maybe you can get some helpful information from this thread. I know it is long but it is full of very good advice.…
  • My diary is still open... but for the love of Zeus please dont anyone pay attention to what I ate Saturday night. I'm not a very good role model for this website.
  • Chesapeake, Virginia.
  • Mmmmm straight black coffee.
  • Mine has been wide open pretty much since day one. I may not be the healthiest eater but nobody's perfect. To me it helps keep me just that much more honest with myself. And yes I log everything... I even went so far as to log in a single peanut M&M that I ate last week.
  • easiest way with photobucket is find the picture you like then on the right side of the screen under share photo copy the direct link address and place that in the image tags.
  • Upload them to an image sharing site (I like imageshack). Once you do that take the actual URL of the image and place image tags before and after it like this... [ img ]www.whatever.com/funny.jpg[ /img ] Just don't put any spaces in the image tags like I did. That was just so they would show up.
  • I'm just picking on my wife a little because I know she reads my posts. In reality she was perfectly happy with me just the way I was. I however had gotten to the point where I no longer was, and I decided to do something about it. For the last 4 years I have been doing basically the bare minimum just to get by and not…
  • All I can say is that I used to be your husband. I don't know what he did in the Corps but I know when I got out it was such a load off my mind and body that I just needed time to allow myself to adjust to civilian life and to just let myself feel like a normal person again. Unfortunately the job I got after getting out…
  • I'm so proud of you, not only for making such an awesome comitment to losing weight but with your complete openness about how you got where you are. I know you can do this and I'm going to be by your side 100% of the way!
  • Ok, So this is where all the guys are hiding.. Man I was really starting to wonder about this myself. Good to know I'm not alone even if we are few and far between.
  • Well for me and my wife there was one main motivating factor for us joining a gym... Childcare. Do we have time to work out at home? Probably. Is it easy while dodging a toddler or feeding an infant... not so much. save for the times I am working out with my son.. or as I affectionately call him my 35lb dumbell. Also my…
  • Ok I went ahead and did the math and I'm pretty sure I could achieve the lower number just by flapping one arm while I sit at my desk. I don't know I mean according to that formula my Max is 192... and I average higher than that. Oh well.. I guess I'll just keep on keeping on and see what happens. So can anyone reccomend a…
  • Ever since I heard about the Kinect (back when it was Project Natal) I was amazed. I think there is a good chance that we will be picking one up once we get our taxes back this year. or maybe I'l just sell my Wii Fit and some other stuff. I used to love the Wii Fit but with a rowdy curious toddler running around it becomes…
  • It's in there i's just not broken down to what specific chore you are doing. They have "Cleaning, light, moderate effort" and "Cleaning, heavy, vigorous effort".
  • I was wondering abou this also. It just seems weird to see all those zeros next to my exercises.
  • Some more baby Instructions...
  • Granola Bars, especially my new favorite the Quaker Chewy Chocolate Swirl bars... only 90 Calories each and they are so delicious that you feel like you are getting away with murder. Also Salsa is pretty good if you want something Salty about 10 Cals per serving I can usually get away with about 140 Cals worth of chips and…
  • Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who is addicted to coffee. Every morning I drink a large cup of coffee and when I first started using MFP I was terrified that I would have to give it up or cut back drastically, but once I looked it up and found out that a cup of coffee is only about 2 cal for every 8oz i knew I was…

  • Wow, Thank you for all the words of encouragement guys! I heard that this site was full of supportive people but I was still not prepared for such a warm welcome. Oh and for what it's worth I am going to try and leave my diary wide open. I update it every single meal and I like to think that I have to be accountiable to…
