oh Janet, I hear you. I'm so good during the day, I sicken myself:grumble::grumble: but on the strike of 8pm the hunger gremlins set in and I can't be filled. Currently, I'm also in weight watchers so I eat a lot of my daily allowance in the evening. Recently I've discovered that Murray MInts are not that high in calories…

A lecturer, when explaining stress management to an audience, Raised a glass of water and asked, 'How heavy is this glass of water?' Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g. The lecturer replied, 'The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it's not a…

Best of luck with new healthy eating plan. This site is amazing and people are so friendly and helpful. I've been struggling with a sluggish metabolism et al for about 8 years. I've done every known diet and a few hair-brained ones of my own. A couple of weeks ago I had a blood test to see if there were any foods that were…

I hear your pain, I'm the very same, truly sick of walking every day and sticking to my calorie allowance but not a move on the weight. Someone suggested I eat all my calorie allowance which I'm currently doing. Hopefully that will work.

Hang in there and don't lose faith. I went to an obesity clinic and they told me it's more important to get eating patterns under control than worry about excercise so you can concentrate on them for next few weeks while you heal. Best of luck :flowerforyou:

Ha ha, thanks for comments everyone. There is so much hype about them at the moment, I rented one for a week. It sounds good ok but it's supposed to be an excercise device!!! You have to stand on the vibro plate and the vibrations transfer through the muscles in your entire body. The Vibration plate causes your muscles to…

Hi Pen, I suffer from anxiety also and recently I went to an Eating Disorder and Obesity Management Clinic in Ireland. The trainer gave me some very helpful tips on dealing with anxiety and healthy eating. She said to cut out all diet sodas and coffee as both were triggers that increase anxiety and to eat every 3 hours as…
