I suffer from this and agree with this post. Sadly, people who don't suffer from it don't understand it and I just frustrated trying to explain it to them so I give up altogether. Sometimes I wished I had a drug/alcohol addiction (*I am not belittling the consequences or severity of these addictions and understand that…

Though it was a long time ago since I started my diet, I'd probably have to say soda! I didn't even like it much and used to drink it because it was an option.. Then when I learnt of calories... Almost never drink calories anymore!! ETA: I used to only care about calories but lately I've started to be really wary of sodium…

While I don't know the dynamics of your relationship and my opinions are based on this isolated incident that you just posted, but what I get from this is that you shouldn't be marrying someone you don't feel comfortable with.. Doesn't seem like you're gonna be happy. Also, it is not healthy to have your self esteem…

You look stunning!! way to go :)

Weight loss is about a calorie deficit. How long have you been at it? Elaborate on your eating habits and exercise, current weight and height. Open your diary and people could help better. Don't panic.

I feel you!! I'm a snacker!! Either you work it into your caloric goal ie make calorie allowance for the after work snack and not have too big a dinner, or have something to do after work! Be it hang out with friends, take a shower and paint your nails, do some shopping, or cleaning your house/grocery shopping, chores that…

Though those are not my favorite forms of carbs, I'm with you!!!

120-130lbs! But for now it's not so much numbers, and more of getting my binges under control! And then the weight loss will come along naturally! Once I feel comfortable enough then I'd start weighing myself again..

Oh wow you look amazing!! Inspiring :)

I'd be inclined to disagree with this! I do believe that for most people, as long as there's a calorie deficit, you can lose weight/fat. Fruits are healthy and come with lots of fibre and vitamins, so I don't really think it is that much of an issue unless you have some medical condition that limits sugars! As long as you…

Hell yeah!! You look great and you have a lovely smile :) Please keep on keeping on!!! Everyone moves at different paces, don't get discouraged by that!

Thanks for sharing, fighting a nasty battle with the binge monster and struggling, and this was a good read.

I don't necessary wake up that early but I work out first thing once I wake up so I guess I can relate! I like the relief that comes with getting a work out done before anything else in the day. That motivates me! Sometimes I'm tired/lack of sleep/just lazy but I just open my eyes and lay there for a minute or two, then…

It might feel unrealistic now but your perceptions might change as you lose weight!

I log everything except when I just eat one or two sugar free sweets that I can't be bothered to log, and the little lemon slice I add to my water every morning! And my multivitamins!

Summer - 2 Binge - 1 2 April was a wreck, utterly nasty binge. Today's not over yet and I'm pre-checking in here that I wouldn't binge and hopefully this would help remind me not to binge later ):
-
Sounds yummy!! Anyone knows if it'll work on a skillet/microwave though? :/

thanks for sharing this :)

March has been mediocre and I'm not happy with that!! Gotta make April count SO BAD!!! I'd better commit to eating better! I know I can because I WANT THIS. WE ALL CAN BEAT THY NASTY BINGE MONSTER GRRR!!! Summer - 1 The Binge - 0 I binged but I managed to stop it before it could have gotten EVEN worse, so I'm gonna count…

bumping for myself... anyone?

Hey! I understand where you're coming from! Yes it is hard when they don't understand that weighing food is vital in tracking calories! BUT I wouldn't say that your family's concerns are unwarranted, I have suffered from anorexia and bulimia (and still fighting it) and binge eating (my current struggle), and the below…

You might find this harsh or not something you'd subscribe to because 'you will never lose weight by eating xxxx cals' but let me say that I second his advice based on PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. I have restricted A LOT, and at that time I felt so in control, and then came the uncontrollable binging, because your body eventually…

Wishing you the best of luck. Stay positive and strong for yourself and your loved ones. Glad to hear that you're getting support from your family, that is really heartening! You have all the right tools so I'm sure you can do it <3 Focus on small steps and making little improvements! Don't overwhelm yourself!
