Is there a limit to how much/fast you can lose at a time?
What are your thoughts on large calorie deficit on non-overweight people? I read that very low calorie diets work on the obese and has a negligible effect on their metabolisms initially simply because they have so much more too lose. What about non-overweight people? Is there a limit to how fast they can lose? Don't know…

What are your thoughts on this bodyrecomp article?
http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/why-big-caloric-deficits-and-lots-of-activity-can-hurt-fat-loss.html What are your thoughts on this? Is it really true for the majority of people? Does it apply only to fat loss, or to weight loss too? If so, doesn't it refute that weight loss is simply about calories in vs…

Dizziness and nausea?
Hi! Today I had my fasted morning workout of 25minutes of 1minute intervals of high knees, frog jumps, jumping jacks and rope skipping without the rope, and then 15minutes of jogging. After which I was promptly stopped by an elderly man who just wanted to talk to someone. While I was standing there listening to him talk, I…

It's fine at home, but in school or out it's really troublesome and people keep asking me WHY DO YOU PEE SO MUCH and I say because I drink a lot of water but I'd really want it to stop. I know the solution is…

Why drinking water helps me with binging (sometimes)
I don't know if this would help anyone but besides the fact that sometimes we mistake our thirst for hunger, but I believe that many binge-eaters don't eat out of hunger too and hence the water thing might not work... BUT!!!! I find that drinking water makes me need to pee more so it 'interrupts' my binging and sometimes…

short sprints VS longer runs for less muscular body?
I know everyone says to look at professional athletes and that long distance runners have a less muscular build while sprinters generally are more muscular, though both really lean and have awesome bodies. Thing is, long distance runners are still running at a very fast speed as compared to us 'non professional athletes'.…

Help.. Pistachio calories?
Hey guys some help here.. Anyone know what pistachio calories are per nut? Googled different sources and all gave me about 40 odd kernels for 160cals, but the nutritional info on the packet of the nuts I bought said 50g for 331cals but they were unshelled! The whole packet is 400g, which is about 2640cals but I counted the…

Exercise calories - how much of it to eat back?
I use the TDEE - 20% method at sedentary, and then eat back some of my exercise calories. Thing is, when you exercise you burn a certain amount of calories (say 500), but if you weren't exercising you would still burn some just by living and breathing (say 100). So technically you've only earned 400 calories to eat back…

I have no access to a gym and is planning to do 30minutes of stairs up and down every morning, and the rest of the day there will be some slow walking.. Do yall think the stairs will make me have bulky legs? Should I not do it daily? I could do slow jogs too but in the morning it is scorching and I don't wanna get…

Is too much exercise bad?
Ok so I'm baffled by this... Can too much exercise hinder weight loss? Will too much exercise bulk you up? Asking this because I tend to try to do a lot of cardio because exercising is easier for me than eating lesser. When I say 'too much exercise', I mean really intense interval running, elliptical at a moderately fast…

Carbs? GI? Or just calories?
So I know this has been debated countless times and no one has really been able to come to a final conclusion and every camp has their own success stories etc... I'm just curious as to people who go low-carb, low-GI etc... Does it really matter? Or is it just calories? Is too much fruit bad because of sugar and carbs?
