9 pounds is HUGE! Try picking up 2 bags of flour (10 lbs) and carrying it around for a bit...it's considerable! Congratulations! I'm in the "home stretch" right now, too. I think it's been the most difficult. Keep it up! We'll get there.

WOW!!! nice work!

I don't have a story like that of my own, but I wanted to support you in your challenge. It must be difficult. I hope if you start hearing the "voices" that you'll get some counseling. Your health is too important!

HOLY SMOKES, Mama! You can really really see the difference. Congrats!

I'm 5' 3" and I would like to be between 115-118, but if I get there, and I feel "too thin" I'd just quit. I am not stuck on the number so much as I am how I look, and how my clothes fit. Good luck!

You are doing a great job! I am most happy for you that you are no longer suffering from diabetes. Congratulations!!

You can really see a difference! You look fit and younger. Congratulations!

I usually run with friends, and we run at a pace where we can talk during our running. I find that if I can carry a convo, I am running at a good pace for me. I rarely get to where I just can't talk (LOL!) For me it's usually my knee or I just don't have the energy that day. Could be not enough water, could be not the…

LOVE IT! Congrats, you should feel like a champ. To me, it's things like this that keep me exercising. I feel better now than when I was younger. :) Keep it up!!

I prefer to run in running skirts. I have a couple, and find them really comfortable (and girly). I have never had anyone question it? Maybe it's because they are athletic wear, though, and not skirts I'd say, wear to work or something like that.

Yeah. What they all said. Sounds like you are trying to run too fast, too soon. Right now, you are trying to build up endurance, not speed. Once you have some endurance, you'll be able to pick up your pace a little more comfortably. It'll happen. You have to keep at it, though, or it'll take much longer to get there. If…

WOW you are inspiring! I've been running for a few years, and still to intimidated by that distance. YOU GO!!

Isn't it crazy how getting up earlier to do something like exercise seems so dreadful at first? After a short time, you start to crave it almost! Nice work, it's paying off! Every day you are getting stronger, healthier, and adding years to your life. GO!!!

A perfect weather day got me to get outside and run today...SOOO NICE! I logged another 45 mins making my total for the month 8.25 hours, which seems low to me. I'm not discouraged, though, I have a race coming up next month and I'm excited to be training for it. :)
