My happy weight is around 145. 140 would be nice, 150 isn't bad, so 145 is a good spot.

I'm a total night owl, too. I'm trying the get up early and work out thing, too. I'm aiming for 20 minutes of moderate intensity like someone else said. I'll be half asleep, so I'm not going to be going full blast! ;-) No kids here, but I have a haaaard time waking up in the morning anyway. I plan to have my clothes ready…

Whenever weight loss stalls for me, I eat about 100-150 calories more per day for about a week, then go back to my usual routine. I usually gain a pound or two that week, but then it goes away and takes a few pounds with it the following weeks. :) Good luck!

All I know is that eating a big, well-balanced meal (with beef!) always helps bring my period on when it seems to be dragging its feet. It relieves cramps and helps get things moving!

Yes! I l calculate it as cleaning and use the Fitness Partner Activity Calculator found here: http://primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/calculat.htm

This is aweome!

I read a post similar to this a few weeks ago. The OP had said she was gaining/losing the same 2-4lbs for two months. It was suggested in the thread for her to eat about 100-150calories more than she usually did, for about a week. Naturally she could expect to gain a little, but then to go right back to eating her usual…

Me!!! It's unnerving. I'm pretty much proportionate with my chest/hips head on- I'm hourglass shape. But my middle... oh goodness. I don't have much of a booty at all, and I usually wish I could put the fat from my belly above my navel into my butt to give it some shape. I'm almost a P shape from the side because the top…

Tuna, oatmeal, whole grain bread, deli meats (I'm partial to the oven-roasted turkey 98% fat free kind), cheese (but I know that doesn't help with your fat grams...), skim milk, Greek yogurt (Chobani nonfat has 11.5g protein per 1/2 cup), nonfat cottage cheese (13g protein per 1/2 cup), navy beans (8g per 1/4 cup dry),…

Currently it's Blue Bell No-Sugar-Added lowfat vanilla and Great Value Coffee. If Blue Bell would make their coffee in the pint sizes, I'd get that instead! ETA: Forgot- also have Blue Bell All Natural Coconut Fruit Bars. :)

AdvoCare meal replacement shakes - love 'em! All flavors!

AdvoCare protein shakes are yummy. :) https://www.advocare.com/121018110/Store/ItemDetail.aspx?itemCode=T1361&id=A&flavor=a I love them all. Has flavors in chocolate, chocolate mocha, berry, and vanilla. There's also a new vegetarian protein shake that excludes milk protein, but I haven't tried it yet.

I was on Ortho TriCyclen (pill with three different dosages) for 10.5 years (brand and generic)- never had a problem. I've been off for almost 3 years trying to start a family, and I have missed the positive parts to them. They always kept me stable, I had shorter/lighter periods, gained/lost weight only due to my eating…

I make the Salsa Chicken like someone else posted. My version: 2 frozen boneless/skinless chicken breasts 1 cup salsa half an onion (chopped) handful of shredded carrots 2 stalks celery (chopped) My chicken is always perfectly done after 3 hours on high, 4.5-5 hours on low, so I usually prep it early then turn it on low at…

You can have your students stay 30minutes afterschool?! I never could do that- our school used to allow it for car-riders only (obviously bus kids would have no way home). Then, the school outlawed it entirely because the parents of the car-riders (who were generally more well-off and not economically disadvantaged)…

My school (TX public school) forbade teachers from giving out any food/drink... The exceptions were the crackers we had to keep on hand for a diabetic kiddos prone to low sugar- and even they had to be escorted by another student to the nurse before receiving the snack. We only gave out snacks/water bottles/sugar-free…

My hubby was sort of like that... but I started making healthier meals and just didn't tell him. LOL He never noticed. Sometimes he's still hungry when the food is gone, but I always tell him he can feel free to make a snack. He usually goes back and makes toast or gets a bowl of cereal. Sometimes we do eat similar but…

I'm not a fan of the Slim Fast shakes, but I adore the AdvoCare shakes. :) I drink 'em daily! You can message me for more info if you want.

I echo the others here who have said to really, truly look at it as a lifestyle change. Change takes time. What all did you do differently the last few weeks to lose the 10lbs? Look at your food diary for the past month, look at your exercise minutes/calories, look at your net calories, and tweak them. You know it worked,…

LOL I did that as a kid. Apparently, my hubby did too... and he took a big spoonful of baking cocoa one day not long ago thinking it was chocolate milk mix. Funniest thing I'd ever seen once it registered in his brain that it was bitter, unsweet, baking cocoa powder. :-D

Hahahaha! I think the starvation mode thing is totally crap, too- at least it is for me personally. The only thing that seems to work for me to lose weight- fat- is to consistently have net calories under 1000, i.e. eat 1200-1300 and burn around 300cal through exercise. I don't lose weight simply working out. I don't lose…

If you don't go, just call or text your uncle. I would probably say that I appreciate being included and that I just can't make it tonight but I look forward to meeting his girlfriend's family in the future. Easy peasy. :)

This! If I make meatballs, I add in pureed celery, carrots, onion, garlic, and ground up oatmeal (in place of crackers).

I eat a lot of veggies and fruits since it's that time of the year. :) My diary's open if you need inspiration. I like mixing up Ranch dip using nonfat Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and I'll eat bell pepper strips, baby carrots, raw squash slices, cucumbers, for a snack. Veggies are also good with hummus! I throw…

I measured today since I didn't lose any weight on the scale this past week- and I realized I have lost 2" in my waist and 1/2" off my hips since 3weeks ago. :-)

Cut back to two eggs, nix the banana in favor of turkey, and cut out the sugar in your coffee- presto change-o fewer calories. :) I try to stay around 1200-1300 calories myself. Daily, I try to eat: 40-50g fat, 100g protein, and 150g carbs. It's not always that "good," but the exercise calories help! Today I ate way more…

The year I did 30DS for 19 days in a row, I only lost 3lbs, but I lost 3" off my waist. :) I did Level 1 for 19 days. LOL I still do the workout (Level 1) randomly. I've done Level 2 a few times over the past year. I did Level 3 once. To me, it's always a "What you put in is what you get out" kind of workout. If you give…

This is so motivating! Congratulations! You look great. :)
