I'm 5'5.5, so kinda close to the 5'6 mark (depends on how much sleep I get). Down in the 180's now, was up to 209. Trying to get to 140's, but we'll see how long that takes since I also started Stronglifts a month ago. Jogging/running/walking got the first 20 lbs off, but I want to retain muscle as well. Weight sits mostly…

Thanks. I'll try that. I don't want to mess my wrists up, that will make it impossible to do any of the other lifts.

Two squat racks in main part, and smith machine. In women's section, one rack. That's where I do most of my lifting, except for bench.
-
Continuing lifting, but I suspect I may have to have a trainer evaluate my form soon. Hitting squats=100 lbs, overhead= 65, and deads=145. Overhead I don't think I can do first time out, but I have to get washers to go up slower than 5lbs at a time. Squats I need to make my rump go up first, my right knee is popping on the…

Lana Del Rey. Currently obsessed with her music.

I had such a hard time with 55 lbs, but I managed 60 with less difficulty. Who knows why?
-
Sure. Details?

bump...so I can go back and get some new songs to work out to!

I'm stuck at 55 for OHP, I can just squeak 5x5 out (with grunting) and rows are stalled at 80. I think fractional weights to take to the gym are next on my list. Others are still going up alright, but I've only been doing this for a couple of weeks. I have the sneaking suspicion that my squats aren't quite proper form, but…

Could be water weight. I haven't lost any weight since upping my allergy meds, but I can tell I'm retaining water like mad. I figure it will even out eventually. Meanwhile, I'm keeping up with my jogging and lifting, while keeping track of calories. After all, this is supposed to be my new lifestyle, not just a temp thing.…

Three. 17, 15 and 12. Oh, and 8 pets. Do they count?

I'm leery of them, especially since Wall-E. The cockroach was cute, but waaaayy too enamored of the Twinkie filling.
-
I have to admit, I've had a depraved...er...deprived life. Never eaten a Twinkie.

About 1900 on days with exercise, which is almost every day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Depends on how much sleep I got the night before and how early I had to get up. Day's when I have to be up by 3:30 am, I tend to eat more. But it evens out in the end.

I am amused by the number of calories it sometimes says I burn on a busy day, however when I isolate the time period that I worked out for then I can use that number to adjust MFP numbers (which tend to run high). This way I'm getting a more accurate picture of how many calories I burn during a workout. I don't add the…

I put on a pair of jeans to go out, and my son commented that he hadn't seem me wear anything other than my yoga pants in awhile. This was because I really didn't fit in the jeans anymore, they were too small to be comfortable and I didn't want to admit that I needed new pants. They were already a Lane Bryant 1. I am…

bump...please

I jogged for 1.6 miles without stopping. Started MFP about 60 days ago and could only walk (no jogging). In another 60 days I'm going to try and jog the Bay to Breakers race in S.F.

Davis!

Oh Gods! This is hysterically funny! Thank you.

Mine go numb too. I just got new shoes, and she (the saleslady) laced them very loosely. That helps, but I have to alternate jogging days with one long, one short. Otherwise the middle toes on one foot go numb. I have no arch to my foot, so finding shoes is difficult. That said, the stationary bike is so much worse than…

OMG I loved that shirt when I saw it! I missed buying it though... I too, cannot live without coffee. Of course, I am a barista so I have easy access (thank god!) It is the only thing that got me through college, to the point I have a molecule of caffeine tattooed on my ankle as homage to the bean.

Sadly, after being in school for the past few years I have trained myself to 4-5 hours a night. Once a week I don't have commitments in the morning which allows me to sleep for 7-8. I can lay down for longer, but I rarely sleep. This sleep pattern runs in the family, my mother had the same sleep schedule until she retired.…

Love the popcorn. I don't use the packaged stuff, Alton Brown taught me a neat trick that you can use regular popcorn, a brown paper bag, and staples. If you've got a microwave, you can get popcorn. I can pre-measure it at home and put it in my bag for my snack at work. Coworkers happily filtch from me then.

Despite the espresso machine being down at work I didn't lose my temper at the customers who complained about having to wait for their 800 calorie drinks (and additional pastry). Plus, after work I went for a walk with the dog.

Oh, yeah. Just from running around at work burns 1700 a day, and that's only for 8 hours. Normal activity after and before work adds another 1000, and if I work out in addition to that I can hit 3200+ for the day. Of course, on days when I don't work I really have to move it more, but 500 I can get from walking the dog at…
