I suggest doing pushups standing up agaisnt the wall....sounds silly i know but it's what our trainer for hockey would have us do to start off with to get use to the form. Then he would have us move to a bench (hands on the bench feet on the floor) so there wasn't as much body weight for us to fight against then a lower…

Not me...but my younger brother believed that if you fell from a high height you would bounce thanks to my dad tell him this. So one day he climbed up a pine tree and well jumped. Well, he didn't bounce. In fact he broke his arm in the exact same spot that my dad broke his and exactly a year to the date....way to go.

I hated gym in middle and hs! From 7-10th grade I always managed to have first period gym class. What girl wants to wake up, take a shower, get pretty, and then go to school to run around and get sweaty less then an hour after getting pretty. We only had 5 minutes to change from gym clothes back into our school clothes. So…

The girl on the tredmill that walks at 1.5 miles per hour in jeans and a flannel shirt while reading a romance novel and leaning on the handel bars. Also the guys that gives girls funy looks when they walk into the weight room and then the look on their face when they see how much they are lifting :)

A typical day looks like this (hope it gives you some ideas) breakfast: protien…

Does your gym have a track? I hate running on tredmills...3 seonds feels like a year on those things....so I decided to take to the track even though its always either super advanced runners or older people speed walking. That helped me a lot! Also awesome music helps too. As for basketball....could you go to the gym later…

everyone and anyone is more then welcome to add me.

I always ask someone to spot me at the gym the first time i increase weights, mainly because the other girls i go with would not be able to catch the weigths if they fell. Its gotten to the point some of the people ask me if i need them as a spotter today before they leave the gym. I think it would be a lot more annoying…

You can be close to your goal weight but if you arent building up muscle your body fat will still be high (1lb of muscle= 1lb of fat weight wise but not volume wise) I'd try lifting heavy and lose the fat but replace it with muscle.
