  • It may be that your body is already at its ideal weight. In which case it will fight you for every last pound!
  • This would be true BUT MFP already calculates a 500 calorie deficit into your daily allowance (for 1lb a week weight loss) so you should eat them to stop your body going into starvation mode!
  • you actually can log weight training juts search under cardio and put weight training. it was added a little while ago. But i think for aerobics with weights interval/circuit training would be most accurate.
  • why not set yourself 10-20 pound goals and at the end of each one see where you are. You will know (and your body will tell you) when you are at a healthy weight. Good luck :flowerforyou:

  • i don't know how to calculate it but if you want different percentages of foods then go into change settings custom and then put fat as 30%, i think MFP puts it at 20 anyway but you can check! I'm not sure what it was originally cause I altered my goals slightly becauseI found the protein to be too low for me.
  • It's weird because I haven't lost any weight from my chest. My bra back size is smaller but the cup size is the same. i actually wouldn't mind losing a bit!

  • i think you have to balance calories and fat. Your body needs fat to function so you shouldn't cut it out MFP works out what goals you should be hitting for both calories and fat so try and stick to these. Beans are good for you HOWEVER they are calorie dense foods which is why your lunch total was so high. Saying that…
  • welcome. One tip would definately be to combine the healthy eating with exercise (and then make sure you eat your exercise calories!!!) Oh and drink lots of water. good luck
  • your welcome:flowerforyou:
  • oops there goes our 2 ideas then!! How about a vegetarian stir fry it's healthy quick and easy. You could always have that with a small amount of rice.
  • Maybe you aren't eating enough? You need to eat your exercise caloires. If you don't your body will go into strvation mode and make it extremely difficult for you to lose weight.
  • unfortunately the only way to get rid of the excess aft is cardio which will burn it off. Sit-ups etc will help strengthen your abdominal muscles but this won't make you stomach flat!

  • how about an egg white omelette with some kind of filling (I like low fat cream cheese, spring onions and pepper) with a side of steamed brocolli or other vegetable you like. Not the most exciting but low cal.
  • i'm not sure on exact exercise but maybe try posting in the exercise and fitness forum and i'm sure people will have some great ideas for you. Good luck!

  • I actually got to the gym yesterday and sis strength training and cardio so i was really pleased, I ate pretty well too, although I slipped up and had 3 truffle chocolates :blushing: it fit into my daily caloires though so it's ok! Today I'm hoping to get to the gym for a quick cardio session. I really hope i loose that…
