I've lost 40 pounds, going from barely fitting into an extra large down to a medium, and no one but my mother and husband seems to have even noticed. Sometimes it's nice that I can just keep my journey private, other times it would be nice to have a little validation.

Reflective and rain resistant is going to be what I need to stock up on. I'd like to try to keep it going year round, but the Vancouver winter rain is pretty relentless.

I only eat my cottage cheese savory, but my favourite way (other than with just a little salt and pepper) is to eat it mixed with sauerkraut. And then watch my husband make grossed out faces at me.

I usually pick up a case of Chobani cups at Costco on my US shopping trips, and I'm very happy with it compared to other brands I've tried. If I buy in Canada, I usually get the probiotic President's Choice stuff, but it's very chalky. Last time on my US run I bought Dannon Fit and Light instead of Chobani as the former…

My mother's family is all Swedish, and my father is half Ukrainian mixed with Scottish and Norwegian. End result is lots of freckles and skin that burns instantly. And a strange urge to go raiding whenever I get into a boat. But with that mix, it's just easier to say I'm Canadian. hehe

Wild Mountain Blueberry Raspberry Chocolate Truffle Vanilla Hazelnut Butter Toffee White Chocolate Mint Just a few of my favourites.

I ran off and got married on the beach in Cuba, and I still don't regret it all these years later. I just bought a $100 white dress I found at the mall, and my husband bought a nice linen shirt and khakis. All the money we didn't spend on our wedding went into our mortgage payments. Sure I'm a little chubby in my pictures…

Costco has very good workout clothes under the Kirkland label. There's always good old Sport Check if you can catch a sale. They've at least got a lot of the name brands. I won't wear the Lululemon label, personally.

There's a Developmental Disabilities Association donation bin right in front of my usual grocery store, so most of my stuff has gone into there. It's easy and a worthy cause to donate to.

I was also going to recommend trying the "Sweetheart" style at Old Navy. You could also spend a couple of dollars to get a pair of jeans tailored to get the fit right, or take up the length on a pair that's too long but fits better in the mid section. I think it only costs $10 for my husband to get his suit pants hemmed.

The fact that Lululemon has always been an overpriced cult has always been a big turn off to me, and Chip Wilson's comments just solidified my decision to never wear their logo. Costco is where I pick up most of my athletic wear. I've also gone to Sport Check to try on sizes of various Under Armour items and other brands…

My husband did that to me with a Costco-sized bag of dog food, though I only had to bring it up from the garage. He reminded me that I had been carrying that much extra weight around every day, everywhere I went. It was a strong reminder of what I've lost and want to stay lost.

I think the name alone is part of the draw for some people. It just sounds impressive to say you're doing "Insanity" when talking about it with someone else.

I've just moved on from 30DS to Body Revolution. So far, I'm really enjoying it. Though she keeps warning that the first workouts are just to ease you into it. I might be cursing it closer to the end of the 90 days. lol

I just started phase 3, and my weight initially went up instead of down, too. From what I've been reading, it's most likely water retention. The BF% on my scale is slowly going down, even if my actual weight isn't. At this point my weight is right where I started, but I do feel stronger and better. A little frustrating,…

Double spicy tuna roll salmon and tuna sashimi Scallop and asparagus roll Spicy smoked salmon and cream cheese roll Not exactly calorie friendly, but oh so delicious.

Curious about this myself, as I'm just moving onto phase three of 30DS and already trying to plan what to do next. My co-worker is really enjoying T25, but he's the kind of person that lives to exercise.

That looks like what are called Rockets here in Canada.

Level 2 Day 3 today. It's been difficult doing all of the plank exercises as I don't want a recent wrist injury to flare up again, but I'm trying to modify as best I can. Not seeing much for results yet, but I know I need to keep on going.

I don't have a smoker, but now I'm really craving smoked salmon thanks to this thread.

My hubby usually logs the meal as I'm cooking, then I view his diary and use the Quick Tools at the bottom of the meal to Copy to today. It puts it into my diary.

Yeah, that whole article is full of maybe, might, and perhaps.

Salt and Vinegar chips are my biggest snacking weakness. Old Dutch and Miss Vickies are my favourites. Dill pickle is a close second, especially the PC dill pickle chips. Plain chips I won't even touch. Hubby's sour cream and onion are usually safe from me, too. But any S&V in the house gets demolished in short order.…

If you want rotisserie chicken, what about Swiss Chalet? Can get a family pack to go.

The Triple O's sauce is tastey, but it's a hit on the calories. Maybe avoid any of the burgers with the sauce on them, even though the Legendary is delicious. I got the chipotle wrap last time I was there, and it was more lettuce and chunks of tomato than anything else. Was disappointing for me, but might be what you're…

Bags of Miss Vickie's S&V chips, or any S&V or dill pickle chips. I'd go though a full-sized bag on Friday and be looking for another one on Saturday. Usually washed down with something alcoholic. Pumpkin pies just for myself. With whipped cream piled high. I confess to buying a Costco-sized one on occassion. Hubby and I…

Eating more fruit is definitely on my list of things I need to do better. I'm not a sweets person, so when I'm looking for a snack, I'm not looking for fruit. I love fruit, and in blueberry season I'll eat an entire case by myself. And I happily indulge in the blackberries that grow wild around our neighbourhood. But most…
