My first mini goal is 199, which is a 31lb total loss. I've got 12lbs left to go. I'm hoping to reach it by Easter.

Last I read it was receipt of third-party shipments to their warehouses of non-essential items. Outbound shipments aren't affected.

Looks like my company is about to have everyone work from home who can. I'm in the Vancouver, Canada, area. But on the plus side, my grocery store had restocked the TP when I was there yesterday. lol

I prefer savoury over sweet, so bagel for me. I love it just toasted and buttered, though I won't say no to a layer of herb garlic cream cheese.

I like to keep a few calories for a small snack, like a serving of low-cal ice cream or a small bowl of popcorn. If I'm out of calories and fighting an urge, then I do something to busy my hands like work on my art or play a video game.

When my husband starts putting on weight, it means there's something else going on. Usually it's because his job is taking it's toll again and he's stress eating (and not sleeping), which leads to the comfort-eating spiral because he's unhappy with his weight and health as well. Tackling the underlying issues gets him back…

We have a small collection of sugar-free syrups at home, so I'll have a pump of whatever flavour I'm feeling that day. If I have a cup of coffee at work I'll just add a packet of Splenda.

Salt and Vinegar anything. At first I abstained and kept them out of the house. Now I'm able to measure a serving, if I have calories, and leave the rest of the bag alone.

I've usually planned my dinner out ahead, and I'm looking forward to eating it when I get home. I'm cheap, and restaurants are costly by the time you add on a decent tip. And with fast food, I find I often don't feel very well afterwards. What I will do if the mood hits is stop at the grocery store for a pre-made salad…

I stick to popular hiking areas when I'm alone with my dogs, but I do have pepper spray even though it's not legal here. And a bear bell. But I'm more worried about actual bears and other dogs than I am about people. I've walked right past RCMP officers while carrying my spray openly on my belt, but they've never batted an…

Water kefir definitely has fizz, just ask my ceiling. lol I bought the kefir grains online, and once it got going it was very easy to make. I had a lot of fun coming up with various flavor combinations.

Taking manufacturer weights at face value is one I have to stop relying on. I have a loaf of bread right now that lists each serving as a 27g slice. But they actually weigh 35-45g each!

Individual flatbread pizzas have been our go-to lately. Quick and easy, and can tailor it to match my day by using less or more toppings.

I'm not doing an all-out cheat, but I'm eating closer to maintenance one day a week to help combat the feelings of deprivation I was struggling with.

Bumblebee It had enough Transformers original cartoon nostalgia and 80's teen adventure campiness to make it a fun watch.

Not a lot that I've completely cut out, but there are a couple. I used to regularly have frozen pizzas for just a quick dinner for myself, but they're not worth the calories for a bit of cheese on cardboard. And then salt and vinegar chips is the biggest one. I just can't have them in the house.

I lost so much weight so quickly when I started in mid-May that only losing 5 pounds in June was a depressing let down. But adjusting my expectations to reality, I should be able to lose 10 pounds in 9 weeks. Pepper Jelly is another favourite in grilled cheese in our house, in lieu of mayo and pickles.
-
I love mayo/Miracle Whip in my grilled cheese sandwiches. I also add sliced pickles. My husband used to think it was blasphemy, but he's come around to my way of thinking. Pineapple belongs on pizza and makes my inner 12 year-old happy. lol And we've barely touched on the subject of sauerkraut on hotdogs! Must have!

I lost 40 pounds a few years ago here, and even though I didn't get to my goal, I felt fantastic. Then life happened. My dog died, my grandfather died, I ate my feelings. I slowly put on 20 pounds and yo-yoed there for a long while, which wasn't great, but could have been worse. And then I put 20 pounds more back on due to…

I haven't set an ultimate goal weight, I've just been trying to focus on each mini goal. I should probably eventually aim to be in the 140's, but it feels so far away. For now, just getting from 185 to below 180 is what I'm working towards.

Not a clue, sorry.

I really enjoyed this recipe: Beefy and Cheesy Low-Carb Green Chili Bake https://kalynskitchen.com/beefy-cheesy-low-carb-green-chile-bake/

You need steak sauce on eggs, way better than ketchup! And Tabasco sauce goes on mac and cheese.

Popcorn or rice cakes with a flavour shaker is what I use to try to avoid the crisps. It's not quite the same experience, but at least gives me the crunchy salt and vinegar hit. I can't have crisps in the house, or I will eat them until I am sick. Is there a flavour you can buy for the kids that is less tempting to you? My…

12 pounds down, and extremely happy to hit 189 on May 31. Would be nice to be out of the 180's by the end of June.
