I've yet to find another similar program that I like as much, so I'm back for round two. Currently in weeks 5/6.

What if you look up recipes for vegetables that you think sounds good and offer to make them or help make them? Google is full of interesting recipes if you plop a couple of ingredients into the search. For example my husband couldn't get enough of the panko-breaded asparagus I baked the other day.

I used to drink my milk and sugar with a little coffee. It was the only way to drink the absolutely vile stuff we used to have here at work. I still have nightmares about that "coffee". I ended up cutting out the dairy completely to save my sanity and while I was at it a few calories. You never knew each day if there was…

My husband drinks up the cold-brewed tea as fast as I can make it. I have a 36 oz steeper from David's Tea that I put loose tea with cold water into, then let sit overnight (or all day at work) in the fridge.

I hated mushrooms so much as a kid that I would puke if I ate them. I can do mushrooms now if I bought them fresh, but I still won't go near slimy canned monstrosities. The smell of olives (especially the olive bar at the grocery store) will turn my stomach. I have to race past that part of the deli. lol

How about replacing one or two with bubbly water? It's still cold and bubbly and refreshing, but it won't have the sweetness and caffeine.

I just made pizzas last night for supper: thin layer of cheese over pizza sauce, thinly sliced red onion and orange peppers, asparagus chopped into bite-sized pieces, lean ham, pepperoni, crushed pineapple, bacon, fresh mushrooms.

I'm a start now person, but my husband is a start Monday person. So he wants to plan and get himself mentally ready to start (as well as binge on his favourites on the weekend to get it out of his system), which is usually counter to what I want to do because I want to start now. But yes, yes one last bag of chips would be…

I have a sunrise simulator lamp, and it starts warming up at 5:30 am. By the time the actual alarm goes off at 6, the room is lit and I'm ready to get up and going.

I had a lot of success with it when I did it last summer. I did find the cardio days to be boring as all get out, so I started working on a C25K program those days instead. I've not been able to find another workout that I've liked as much since I decided I needed a break from Jillian, so I'm back for round two.

Where I live, we have a pho place in practically every little strip mall. It's kind of crazy. I used to get the small bowl and eat what I could. Now I pay the extra dollar to get the large bowl, then bring home more than half of it.

http://www.100daysofrealfood.com/2011/02/25/recipe-the-best-whole-chicken-in-a-crock-pot/ My favourite way to do a whole chicken, and takes almost no time to prep. You'd just need something on the side to go with it.

My ferritin was tested at 9 in the summer, with low hemoglobin, and I'm on iron supplementation treatments. I agree that the biggest difference is just feeling better overall, and not dragging around so tired all of the time. I was almost having to take sick days with the fatigue that came with my PMS, and now that awful…

My husband has put pumps in most of our bottles and lined them down the back of our kitchen counter. I like the wine rack idea better just to keep them off the counter! hehe

There is way too much goodness to be found on the Torani website. Shop with caution. lol Last time they had a percent off sale, we bought something ridiculous like eight bottles of different flavours.
-
What about using SF syrups (like Torani) with a splash of real dairy? Or flavoured coffee beans?
-
Imagine how much money you could put towards a new wardrobe if you weren't buying coffee three times a day.

Can you workout before your 9-5 job? Then it's done for the day, and the rest of the evening is yours for your other major priorities.

I picked up Snapware Glasslock containers from Costco a couple of years ago, and I love them. They don't spill anything, even when you hit the brakes and your lunch bag goes flying. And the fact that they're glass and not plastic (except for the lid) is a big preference factor for me as well.

I gave up trekking across my building at work to use the microwave and find it busy for the next god knows how long. I just leave my lunch in my desk and eat it at whatever temperature it's at. I'm just used to room temperature leftovers now, and I actually like stir-fry better a little on the cold side.

Or dry out things like chicken if cooked too long. I'll never have a crockpot without a timer and "Keep Warm" feature again.
-
There was a Gordon Ramsay youtube video I found a while back where he demonstrates how to cook them, and I found it extremely helpful. They come out wonderfully, and so quick to do.
-
You can do a lot with a crockpot that's pretty minimal for prep time, and it's ready to serve when you get home. Or do most of the prep the night before and just toss it together in the morning. There are all sorts of freezer-bag recipes out there on places like Pinterest, as well. Spend a day assembling a bunch, then pull…

A new job that isn't this soul-sucking black hole. And diamonds. I'll always take diamonds.

Montezuma's Revenge... Beaver Fever... water can be downright dangerous!

I'm helping keep David's Tea in business. lol I buy almost all of their seasonal flavours and monthly flavours as they come out, so my tea selection is always changing. But I usually always have a stash of Cranberry Pear, Blueberry Jam, and Cream of Earl Grey as staples.

I use a sunrise simulator lamp. By the time the alarm goes off, the room is gently lit and I'm already mostly awake.

I find I drink water more easily (and mindlessly) if I use a bottle with a straw. I also drink a couple of giant cups of tea every day and certainly count those towards my water intake.
