I don't believe it is necessarily cocky as it is maybe believing we have it under control. Myself, I stopped the gym for out door workouts, which became fewer and fewer until eventually not working out at all. I kept eating fairly well but admitedly enjoyed more cocktails and drinking than usual for me. The gatherings and…

Started 30 DS again recently myself. Today should have been day 6 but yesterday and today I have been so sick I did not wke up to do them and yesterday I passed out for the night as soon as I got home. Sucking down Ginger and Lemon tea today... we'll see how I feel when I get home. I'd love to say it WILL happen, but I…

I am going to try this.... Thank you!

I understand what he is saying. The AMA now recognizes the same. Obesity being cnsidered a dsease is a bit confusing bgecause it is really the RESULT of an underlying disease of some kind. In this particular case, the underlyin issue being a (former) lack of self control. He is recognizing that it would be very easy to…

5'5" here and goal was initially 145. Reached it and now my doctor would like to see me lose another 15 to 25.

I must agree and I believe this to be true. Whether it is due to "stretch" material or adjustments made to keep us believing we are not 'that' big, I can not say; but I do smell a conspriacy between fashion and fast food industries :noway:

Weights is the difference. I am the smallest I have ever been at a size 6; my previous smallest was when I was in my Sr yr of High school, size 9/10; according to the scale, I am still 14 lbs heavier now than I was then.

Excellant transformation! It is truly amazing what we can do when we set our minds to changing. You look phenominal!:smokin: Edited to add: I do have the capris I am wearing in my profile. I was waiting until I hit my stretch goal (showing on my ticker) before I take the photo. This excites me to see yours...

I am reminded of the Happy Bunny: "Boys are dumb, throw rocks at them." "Doesn't this look fantastic?" Reading the label there is 1,000,000,000 calories per mm squared bite. Yeah, Thanks for that dear LOL Ah we love 'em!

My advice? Pretend like nothing has changed. While I understand you will be more active and on your feet an extra amount of time, the pace/activity level is still minimal. I would say it could be your buffer for inaccurate food/exercise calculations here on the site. I chose sedentary as well while I was working my part…

I never listened or believed it. I have my coffee every morning before my workout. I also don't eat before my workout. Makes me sick. To each their own but no, caffeine in a normal intake amount will not dehydrate you.

Mine too are specifically from pregnancy. I got a few on my breasts when I "developed" as a pre-teen but they aren't bd at all. The Longitudal map on my abdomen and back are my worst and they came from my son. The term "tiger" is often used to describe a very protective mother so this post makes perfect sense. To the OP I…

Used to use this myself. Have friends/co-workers that try to use it now. When they do, I tell them how much LIGHTER and SHORTER they are now that I've lost the weight and how my once debilitating cramps have all but vanished. Some get irritated that I thwarted yet another one of their brilliant excuses others are amazed at…

Keep up the great work! You look great!

One word: Moderation You can't go overboard. Limit yourself. I eat sweets. Heck, for the past week and a half I have eaten ice cream with chocolate sauce almost each night after dinner. It's HOW MUCH. You can't sit down and inhale a full tub of ice cream, plus the snickers you had before lunch, the twickies after lunch,…

When I started my changes little more than a year ago, I was MISERABLE with hate for myself. I hated how I looked, hated how I felt, felt like I was an embarrassment to my kids and husband, didn't deserve to find or be happy and dying wasn't going to happen fast enough. What happened? I got mad. Pissed. LIVID. I was mad at…

^^ My Hero^^ and to the one above him, you shouldn't have to worry about the service dog. I say let him do his job and protect you if her feels you are in danger. Seriously. As a parent of 5 it is hard to keep them all headed in the same direction and every child to parent ratio is different. I never personally harnessed…

I can't answer your question for them but for me, when I started working out routinely, I grew almost a full half inch. Not Grew physically but I stand up straight now and have better posture which apparently makes a big difference.

One year ago I was on Metformin for pre-diabetes as well as blood pressure medication. I changed my life and started eating VERY LOW carb. within 3 months I was off the Metformin, in 6 months I was off the blood pressure meds. The nice thing: I eat an almost "normal" diet now. I don't go all out and eat a burger and fries…

Sugar addiction is completely real and I understand completely where you are coming from. My best advice is start tracking how you feel the next couple of days after a sugar binge like that. I found myself to be more crabby and irritable, not to mention an increased NEED to have more. These things are what I use to remind…

Way to go! You look fantastic!

NOPE I wear my Grannies (briefs) to the gym BUT string or thong for regular day wear. Don't care who might see a line because on any given day they also see the man I married staring blankly, eyes low, at my backside too. I neve have toe or wedgy issues.

Eat back some of your workout calories if you noted "lightly active" and MFP dropped your calorie goal. Also, don't feel guilty about reaching your calorie intake, you should come as close to that as possible. If you are adding in more working out, your body requires the additional fuel. HIIT workout example would be…

3 Amigos I swear he had multiple personalities and still does. Shows you whichever one he thinks will either get what he wants or show you his "true" colors.

DEfinately take measurements but eating at a deficit does not mean yuo can't gain muscle. This was proven in the last episodes of the most recent Biggest Loser series where the final winner, Danni, went in for her post competition check up with the doctor and he stated that she lost X amount of pounds while GAINING 19lbs…

WOW What an awesome transformation you have made! Congratulations on your success!

I do this for the breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Unfortunately, dinners are harder. I never know what we are having until we eat. I don't worry too much about not "completeing" my logs t this stage though, as my meals are pretty much a settled mix of what I know has worked. It is rare that I will go into splurging on sweets…

3.5 weeks old. IT was taken at Superstition Mountains on April 20, 2013. This was a hike that made me feel great. Every time the hubs and I would go for hikes when I was heavy, I never wanted to go or wanted to turn around before we got too far. This hike I wanted to keep going but we were in need to return home. Being…
