This is day 6 of a 30 day Challenge I started where every day I complete a minimum of 10K steps, 10 "floors climbed", 30 min. of continuous excercise, and 5 miles throughout the day. I also weigh a very day, and have just started tracking it this month. I was also this month prescribed the diuretic along with a low dose thyroid med as I've begun to have significant swelong on a regular basis in my ankles/feet. I hate it. I'll be 45 this year, but I'm not ready for ugly feet! Haha

My favorite is with lots of pepper, and chopped green onion & cherub tomatoes. I also use spicy pico de Gallo in it a lot. Either way, the pepper is a must for me. Also, the best tasting brand in my opinion, is Oak Farms 4% milk fat. (Whole fat)

My favorite is with chopped green onion, & tomatoes with some dill weed and tons of black pepper. Sometimes, I'll add sliced black olives. Also love cottage cheese with Pico de gallo.

There's a pretty popular recipe called "15 minute chili". I use lean ground beef and either one or two cans each of reduced sodium black beans, and pinto beans. I think it originally calls for kidney beans, but I prefer the pinto, myself. It freezes pretty well.

Why the need to eat only egg whites? I'm not being mean, just genuinely curious. I'm on 1200 calories, but 2 whole egg breakfasts are my religion... every day.

On the off chance I can't get my free range eggs, once on a while I get eggs from "The Happy Egg Company". Someone on here (the default entry, I might add) listed a serving (one egg) as having 25g of FIBER. Hello, what?!! Check, & check again.

Right! I got sick last year & was taking Nyquil. Just out of curiosity I looked it up, and it has 93 calories a dose! I could have had hot toddies instead & probably slept just as much. Haha

I eat those mission low carb flour tortillas with my eggs. The have 13g of fiber. That's 52% of your goal right there. Also, a serving of Ocean Spray reduced sugar dried cranberries has 10g of fiber. Good for salads, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, etc..

A restaurant my friend owns makes a jalapeño garlic cilantro dressing that I love. I always have a jar in my fridge. The longer it sits, the hotter it gets too. A lot of people like to cut it with ranch to tone it down a bit. It tastes good like that as well...I've just never been a huge ranch fan.

I love the 1% lactose free milk. It''s not as watery as skim, and when the lactose is removed, it takes on a sweeter taste even though it has the same amount of sugars as regular milk. A serving is 110 cal's. I'm not even LI. I just prefer the taste. I did try the almond & the almond/coconut blend, but I'm not thrilled…
