How about Curb Your Enthusiasm? They are starting a new season (9) sometime this year.

My problem with my Vivosmart HR is that it tends to overestimate. Today it said I burned 252 on a 30 min walk at 3mph. I typically burn about 100 Cal for 20 min, and also, 3mph is a pretty leisurely stroll. I know I was walking a faster speed..at least 3.3-4mph. I did a few hills, so I wonder if that is the reason for the…

When I read "sprinkle this stuff on your food" I immediately thought of this powder the vet gave us once to put on our dog's food so that the cat poop in the litter box wouldn't taste good to him any more. Apparently, they're like gourmet tootsie rolls to labs.

I haven't tried that flavor yet, but I love the rosemary truffle ones.

The sunflower seed butter truly is the best. I have a hard time finding it, though.

I kind of get this. I love cucumber, but the smell gets on my nerves. Also, I typically could eat melon, but all of a sudden, this past year, I refuse to even allow (specifically canteloupe) in my house. My bf has to cut it up outside & store it in the fridge on the porch (yes, I live in TX..haha) Nothing turns my stomach…

Hello, Marine... from a Marine Corps Brat. Glad you're liking it so far.

I think "Weight Loss, 'Murica!!" is probably pretty accurate seeing that it was touted on Dr. Oz.

Beets. I tried them every way I possibly could, and they just taste exactly like dragging your tongue in the dirt. I did cut the tops off and saute the greens...quite possibly some of the best greens I've ever eaten.

Calories...kind of. I don't freak out if I go a bit over my 1200. However, I always try to hit my protein & fiber as they keep me full. I also tend to watch my sodium, because otherwise, I have to drink a ton of water, and my eyes get all swollen from the salt.

I've always felt that the carb ratio was high too. I have never followed a low carb diet, and I eat veggies, fruits, & breads every day. However, I have never come close to the 50% on my carbs. It used to bother me, but I kind of ignore the number now and focus on the protein, fat, & fiber, & keeping my sodium low.

I'm 5'4 & at my heaviest ever...169. Would ultimately like to get back down to 140. I've been dragging my feet about getting serious, but it is definitely time. I'd appreciate the add and encouragement.

I thought about it for a while, and then ended up going with a vitamix instead. I drink more smoothies, I guess & decided to opt for green smoothies rather than juicing... I couldn't come to terms with giving up the fiber.

A cutie after my Jan. 1st 5K. Black eyed peas & cornbread are done. Just waiting on the roasted chicken, bacon, & cabbage to finish.

Howdy from Weatherford, TX!

I like to put a spoonful in a mug of hot chocolate, & then eat it off the spoon little by little. It's like eating a hot Reese's.

I really want to like my VSHR, but I'm looking for another tracker that i's a bit more accurate. Apparently, I can really rack up some steps while standing in the kitchen chopping vegetables. Also, I don't trust the miles it gives. It is consistently more than a mile behind my Samsung S5 & the Map my Walk/Fitness apps.…

Where do you get it, and in what form?

Me neither. I've never been more hungry than when I've tried to eat oatmeal. I'm a firm believer in eggs, thin slice of ham & Sargent ultra thin cheese and a high fiber English muffin. Oatmeal as a snack...awesome. As a meal..total joke.

*The extra steps I get. Geesh.
-
Well, I have had both the Garmin Vivosmart, & now the Vivosmart HR. You wouldn't believe the extra steps u get when I chop an onion or bell pepper... would be happy to discover exactly which tracker is the most true to steps..

Geez Louse...that seems just a tad excessive, Mother Nature. Can we think about paring down a bit, maybe?!

I am 44 & have always had, & still do, normal & regular periods. I've been following this thread closely & to say the least, it's been a bit mind blowing to read about the many symptoms. We always hear about the hot flashes, of course. I imagined it would be similar to Edith Bunker with hot flashes & mood swings...and then…

I've been having sort of the same problem with my Garmin Vivosmart... I used the regular Vivosmart for 6 months, and it would log about 77 Cal for a 5 mi. walk with an average speed of 3.4. I recently "upgraded" to the Vivosmart HR, & now it seems to log highly exaggerated calorie amounts. I'm just going by Map my walk…
-
My old standard vivosmart gave ridiculously low calorie burns... like 77 calories for a 5 mi. walk (3.5mph). Used my new Vivosmart HR to track a 4.60 mi walk..1.25 hrs, and it wants to give me 795 calories burned. I want to love it, but it seems that they are grossly unrealistic. My Samsung SHealth tends to have the most…

Texas here. Four or five days ago it was in the 90s...in November. (Which is ridiculous) I am certainly ready for winter. BF is from Michigan.... He also couldn't care less about snow & cold. Feel free to add me please, and .. Welcome!

I bought a refurbished Vitamix a couple of years ago on Amazon. It had a 5 year warranty, & does an excellent job. It was still expensive...but completely worth it.
