Holy crap... this is from 2011. How long have guys been wearing skinny jeans?! I thought it was only the past 5 yrs, or so.. (for this time around, of course)

I did go ahead and start today. I only read this post last night, but decided that I wanted to do it as well. For the past 2 years, I've basically had drinks daily, so I'm pretty sure my mind and liver will welcome the break. I quoted you because your post made me decide to do it since you had already had drinks as well.

I'm not Australian, but I do love Daniel Ricciardo...just had to throw that out there.

Well, my arms and legs are equally weak at this point. Both would tire out easily. I'm a little afraid of the paddles getting in the way of fishing... equipment, space, etc.. It would be a good idea to try to find a way to try out both. Neighbors have a paddle boat, & I've noticed those kids barely make it to the end of…

My Garmin Vivosmart does the opposite. I can walk 5 mi. & it tell me I burned 77 cal..

Outstanding!

Did your dad eat peanut butter & sugar sandwiches before she told him about the honey?!

I agree about the S Health for Samsung. I wasn't sure about the steps, but I've driven a couple of routes that I walk, and the mileage is spot on. My Garmin Vivosmart, however, sometimes counts steps when I'm doing things like chopping vegetables..

Tuna packets are great protein & low calorie. Black beans, (although I don't know about the carb content) cottage or ricotta cheese, fish... I eat a lot of eggs, tuna, & salmon. Funny enough, I never ever hit my carb goals. That seems unobtainable to me. (Not doing low carb)

I'm open, & could use some active friends...please feel free to add me.

That probably would have made my day..

There are two greek frozen yogurt flavors I love.. Blueberry Vanilla Graham, and Banana Peanut Butter. I love anything coffee flavored too, so of course I love the Dublin Mudslide, Coffee Heath Bar Crunch, and Coffee, Coffee, Buzz Buzz Buzz! The absolute best however, is a seasonal flavor of Pumpkin Cheesecake. It is…

Luscombe Farms Jalapeno Peach Jelly on toast or crackers with cream cheese. Yes Ma'am!

I have to admit, I'm crushing on it already...but, I might be a little bit desperate...I'm still using a 2009 DroidX. :0)

There's no way it burns 900 cal..but, I do believe it's a work out. I go by myself, so I don't have to wait for anyone else to play. I am standing up there waiting for my ball and throwing as continuously as possible. Just getting back into it after an 8 yr hiatus. After about the fourth game, my arm starts giving…

I boarded a plane in Frankfurt, Germany which took off less than 10 minutes before the departure area was bombed. I also flew out of DFW the same day that that wind sheer accident happened in 1985 that caused the plane to slam down on a hwy and smash a car. My mom flew into Kiev in April 1986...about an hour after…

Where are you going? The only thing I can tell you is that German food is delicious. I lived there from '84-'88 during HS, and yes, I put on some weight! Try everything. Enjoy everything. Just do it in moderation. You are absolutely going to love it there. I am jealous. It was hands down the absolute best time of my life!!…

bumping for ideas..love them!

We say "cola" here. Here being Germany. Can you send me a Spezi though?! I haven't had one in 25 years. :drinker:
-
Texas...it's a coke here no matter what flavor it is (the exception would maybe be a Dr. Pepper, but I still call it a coke.) And it's subs and lightning bugs.

In my teens when I moved to Stuttgart, Germany. German food is ridiculously delicious!!

Avocado is often suggested for people to eat when they need potassium, but can't have bananas. Edited to say I didn't catch the "low calorie" part til just now..

1. 40 2. 150 3. TX 4. beginner/moderate 5. 4-5 times/week 6. Without fail 7. dinner 8. 7-11 glasses 9. decide how bad I want it, and whether or not it's worth it 10. I typically will not eat at restaurants...maybe 4-6 times a year and it would probably be steak or fish.

I'd be curious to see what your cals would be, if you were set to maintenance. I'm guessing you're coming in fairly low to start. If this is the case, and you are somewhat active, then be sure to keep track of your exercise/activity during the day. What I did, was actually check the value for sedentary, and then for…
