Where are your calories at? If they are too low, you may need to bump them up some.

I do Dannon plain yogurt with two tablespoons of craisins or one tablespoon of craisins with a 1/4 cup of cereal such as fiber one or quaker oatmeal squares to balance out carbs and protein. I eat this before a work out and found it good. I have also done a tablespoon of cinnamon with fiber one cereal. Adds flavor and a…

My weight loss tip: Eat well 90% of the time and your good to go. The other 10% leaves room for treats. It's worked for me. I eat healthy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and then at night have a snack that almost always consists of cool whip. LOL. Good luck!

Try upping your calories more...when you have less to lose and remain at a low calorie level, the body begins to hold onto every ounce of food to avoid starvation mode. When I had alot to lose, I was fine on 1200-1500 calories a day. Now that I am about 10 pounds from goal, I have hit a plateau and was advised by my doctor…

It is terrible, the way she is talked about...but then again, the standards we hold for ourselves and others is terrible too. I wish acceptance were taught as much as standards then maybe we would be getting somewhere.

I agree with you, I was saying that it all has to start in the immediate environment. I realize she was a teenager and believe me after spending my entire teenage life obese, I know the harsh realities of being an obese teenager. The whole family needs an intervention, but even as a teenager she learned about portion…

That's why I don't agree with going away for help with losing weight...it is a lifestyle change and unless the move if permanent, you need to have the will power to change your total lifestyle and avoid the temptation. Above all, you can control your environment and must be willing to accept a lifestyle change. Sure, there…

I add 1/4 cup of fiber one regular cereal and cinnamon. Sweet, crunchy, with a little kick. Try that. Plus it's a great way to get protein and fiber.

Thanks Jr! Yeah, it does feel good. Don't get discourage and plan fro slip ups now and then. Accept those days and move forward, but most importantly, follow the 90/10 rule. If you eat well 90 percent of the time, you can cut yourself a break the other 10. Good Luck to you and your wife!!

I have lost 115 pounds and found that depending on the type of exercise I am doing, I may need to eat back the calories. If I have done a high cardio or intense strength training workout then I will eat the calories back, but if I have done a light workout through walking then I ususally do not eat them back. Either way,…
