Since I hitting my goal weight and 8 weeks into a running and strength training regimen, I've been using Muscle Milk after workouts. I run three days a week in the mornings and serves as my breakfast. You can get it at Costco in either pre-mixed portions or bulk bag. Other days, I have a Nature Valley Peanut Butter Dark…

I already know about spot reduction not working, so I am looking to maintain my current waist of 34", and lose more fat throughout my body: dbl chin, handles, man-boobs etc., etc.. I am 5 weeks into a three a week running regimen and can already see the…

I went ahead and did a comparison pic and it really is a "WOW" moment! Nice to see, pun intended, all the hardwork paying off. Nice job!

For awhile I only saw the difference in the bagginess of my clothes; things that were uncomfortably snug were now loose. However, the mirror thing was holding true for me too. After three months using MFP I compared pictures of myself before MFP and at 39 pounds lost. Talk about a "WOW" moment! I know results vary but try…

Not a big fan of beans. Nuts? Well not enough bang for the buck(calories) for me for my love of them. I use Costco for: -60 ct. Nature Valley Dk. Choc and Peanut protein bar: 190 calorie breakfast bar -12 ct. Kirkland Brand Turkey Patties: 200 calories per patty -Black Forest Ham: 40 calories per 1oz. slice -Foster Farms…

I would like to be apart of that too please!

I've noticed that 1200 seems to be the magic number to not receive the "Eating too few calories" message when you complete your tracking for the day, even with negative calorie intake due to physical activity. Could that be what the poster was referring to? (My wife, who has a lower goal than me, gets the same message if…

I am 21 pounds away from my goal weight and my wife, we are doing this together, asked me if or when I plan to stop using MFP when I hit the goal. I told her I plan on using it until the day I die! LOL Once I hit my goal, it is my understanding that my calorie count will go up into an ideal maintain mode number. If it…

Hi Emma! A couple things I learned: Log any and all yardwork or moderate house cleaning---anything where you break a sweat. If you have a smartphone/iphone, get the Runtastic app--it syncs with myfitnesspal. Great for walks/runs with your little one. I have been using MFP and Runtastic for three months and have lost 40…

Nice job Tom! Just out of curiosity, how tall are you? I am 5'11" and started at 256 pounds. Am now 227---38 away from my goal. I had an "Oh my gosh! that is what I look like?" moment back in January after a photo taken at work.... Your pics were another reminder of that moment for me! :-)

Good job! Keep up the work!

You have to replace the calories you burned. If you are consuming 1000 calories per day and then burning close to half with a daily workout, you need to replace the calories. You are already below what the average person would burn just going about their normal day. Your body does go into starvation mode. Also watch your…
