I'm one of those people who need a good scale to get me on track. Any suggestions?

Our family loves Disney and we go about 2-3 times a MONTH. I wish it was weekly but we can't fit it in. We like eating there about once every month or 2 and we try to stay on property about 2-3 times a year. Our goal is to try all of the restaurants and all of the hotels but we have a long way to go to reach that. We LOVE…

I realize this thread is dead but I am bumping to remind myself of the dangers of this! Thanks for being so brave to share. I needed to hear this so I can share the information with others. Hope it's going well, now.

Thanks very much. Am doing some searching and trying to find what I think is good for me. Thanks again!

Thanks. It's been a great week. I ordered Zumba 2 for the Wii tonight to increase my exercise a little bit. I am looking forward to it!!! Weight loss can be fun!

Yes! I'm in! Don't know how much I'll lose but I am aiming for 125 miles on the bike for the month + 2 days of strength per week. Maybe going for 5 pounds is okay. Game on!

Actually, dining at Disney isn't hard to do at all if you plan ahead. Are you doing the dining plan, eating on site without the dining plan or eating outside of the park? Do you have a hotel room with a fridge? I go to Disney many time a month. Give some details and I'll see if I can come up with some "healthy" but fun…

Well, I had a goal to lose 10 pounds by Christmas. Miracle of miracles, I reached this by today even with Thanksgiving! I'm going for 15 pounds total, an extra 5 pounds, by Christmas now! I'm working out and eating right. Logging the food with MFP makes all of the difference for me. Thanks for the 10 pound challenge! It…

Feel free to friend me, too! I'm new myself...

Well, I probably won't make my 150 mile goal but I am riding a minimum of 30 minutes a day. I have 102 miles as of today.

I am starting to make the lifetime change too. I am hopefully doing myself a favor by setting intermediate goals and changing things slowly as I go. I started off just getting used to tracking every bite that goes into my mouth. Since then, I've added exercise. Soon, I hope to add resistance training to the activity but it…

I am new to this but I requested a bike for my birthday on Nov 1 and, lo and behold, I got one! I haven't ridden a bike seriously in years. To "accompany" my new bike, I bought a speedometer so I could gauge what I was doing daily. My real goal is time versus miles. I've ridden at least 1/2 hour 6 days a week since I got…
