  • I'm going to have to look that up. I like my Wii Fit, but I'm ready for something else, too. I think I'm going to try the 30-Day Shred because the workouts are short and I can add them to my routine after I do my Wii Fit routine.
  • I thought of another one: never, ever again having to explain to someone you told you were dieting that no, obviously, it didn't work.
  • I've been drinking Lipton Diet Green Tea Citrus and it's awesome! I gotta admit, though, sometimes I miss pop, even diet pop.

  • Coffee: definitely not. Caffeine actually dehydrates you and counteracts the water. My doctor explained to me that I should have 8 glasses of water plus one extra for every cup of coffee or diet soda I drink (I don't drink diet soda anymore, or any kind of soda). I'm not sure about green tea. Anyone else know about that…

  • Same here! My husband is really thin, also. He keeps a Rubbermaid tote with things he likes (chips, cookies, etc.) under the bed so I at least don't have to see them.
  • That's awesome! Your determination is inspiring!
  • lol! I had forgotten that one! When I was little, my older sister and I would get our stepfather to wake us up, even at 3 AM, to watch Xanadu and Skatetown USA every single time they played on cable.
  • THIS! Totally adding this to my list!
  • I'd much rather lose my a**, but my tummy would be good, too. I don't want to lose anything from the top, and that's actually a paranoia I have as I lose weight. The girls and I have been through a lot together and my hubby is rather attached to them. lol
  • For me, it wasn't one particular food, but a particular habit. I love to read, it's my very favorite pasttime. I've always brought a book to the kitchen table with me, or wherever I sit to eat. I never realized until recently how much more I eat as a result. Not paying attention to what I'm eating and just munching…
  • It is SO nice to meet everyone! Wow, this group is growing fast. I just realized that in my introduction I didn't say much about myself. I'm from just outside Louisville, KY and I work as a domestic violence and sexual assault crisis counselor in a shelter for survivors in Louisville. My job is hard, both emotionally and…
  • That sounds soooo good. I wonder if I could make it without the chicken and with vegetarian broth?

  • Aww, no worries, t didn't make me uncomfortable. The little smiley is my grumble because I worry about the health risks of artificial sweetners. I have tried stevia, a friend of mine makes me an awesome pumpkin cheesecake with stevia. It's a rare treat because it's pretty high-cal with all the cream cheese. Mostly, I just…
  • I've loved the concerts I've seen for different reasons. Best Musically: Van Halen Reunion Tour Best Visually: Roger Waters (Reprising The Wall!) Best Venue: Joe Satriani at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati Never Moved So Much in My Life: Sublime Most Fun Sing-A-Long: Kid Rock Most Jamming: Black Label Society with Clutch…
  • With a bit of luck, his life was ruined forever. Always thinking that just behind some narrow door in all of his favorite bars, men in red woolen shirts are getting incredible kicks from things he'll never know.
  • Ewwww! lol False Next person says "like" way too much.
  • Grrr. Zakk is my dream man, my secret boyfriend! Not a coincidence that he looks a LOT like my hubby! This is too hard a choice. I love Zakk, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, and Alexi Laiho. I've seen all of them live, even traveled 500+ miles to catch Steve Vai at the House of Blues. Hmmm. Nope, can't choose…
  • If you ever need to talk, here's a good crisis line number that I know: 1(877) 803-7577. Good luck to you!
  • You're all good.
  • That's the problem with homework/reading for me. While I'm sitting at the computer or at my desk reading 250-300 pages of homework a week, it kills me not to munch on SOMETHING, anything!
  • I was diagnosed with PCOS twenty years ago. Sucks. Hang in there, all of you!

  • My current obsession. Maybe I should start an Off-Topic thread where we can discuss? lol
  • *scribbles down on grocery list*
  • Being diabetic means that artificial sweetners are my only option. :grumble: I do try to limit them as much as possible, though.
  • I only weigh myself on the first of every MONTH. Also, your weight can fluctuate up to five pounds in the course of a day, so be sure to weigh yourself at a given time of day each time.
  • There used to be a joke about the Entenmann's diet. You know, that brand of sweet foods with the label "Low Fat!" People bought them up thinking they were eating diet food and could not understand why they were gaining weight. They forgot to read the nutritional info that said that the products were extremely high in…
  • Thanks for clarifying. I'm currently reading a fantasy novel series called "A Song of Ice and Fire" and they're always talking about how someone is so many stone bigger than another. Now I'll understand what that means.
  • And whatever happened to guitar solos?!?! My 18-year-old cousin, who says he's a metal fan, acts like I'm crazy when I talk about guitar solos! I'm like, "Really? Are you sure what you're listening to is metal?" lol
  • http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/11724-the-1200-club We'd love to have you! And the rest of you who are trying the 1200-ish goal, as well.
  • I love my Wii Fit Plus, makes calculating so easy because it does it for me! I love doing the yoga section. The first time I tried it, I thought "Oh, this is dumb. I'm not even sweating." Then I woke up so sore I could barely walk the next day! Today I started the free run section, and ran 1.5 miles in 10 minutes, all…
