  • First off, congratulations, you are doing a great job so far, keep it up. Secondly, as far as your "friends" comments, try to ignore them. But honestly if they are true friends they would be supportive. If I were in your shoes I would ask myself if I really wanted those type of people in my life at all.
  • They were scheduled to protest a few months back at a high school about 5 miles from my home. Luckily they never showed up.
  • I agree with you amycal. If you never allow yourself to have a "treat" then you won't stick to your healthy eating. Diets don't work because a diet by definition is depriving you of thing you like. Once you start depriving your self of certain foods you will fail-everything in moderation is my theory.
  • I alway marinade my chicken in olive oil, lemon juice and oregano. Seems to give it a good flavor without adding a ton of calories.
  • So what did you end up eating for lunch? And if you went with the southwestern, was it worth it?
  • What is the difference between weight lifting and circuit training? When I lift weights I use the circuit training setting.
  • If you go onto Stake n Shakes website it has a break down of calories for each sandwich. Pick what you are going to eat before you go and that should help
  • Turning 46 was hard for me because 50 seems so close and I used to think the 50 was old. However, when I started feeling down about it I would think of my children. I would think that if I didn't age neither could my children and then they could not grow up to be the wonderful people they are becoming. That may sound kind…
  • I can not speak for anyone else but I would have no problem with it. Actually I think its a great idea. Our country has a real problem with our youth being overweight so anything to encourage them to eat health and exercise would be beneficial. I hope you carry through with this and get parent and administrative support.
