Oh, I forgot to add Bob Harper from Biggest Losers, he's number 2!
-
I'd have to say Shawn T from Hip Hop Abs and Insanity is hot even though I've never done Insanity.

Love this quote! Can I 'steal' this for my Facebook status?

That's awesome! We are so happy for you! Do you think that your time of the month was the reason for the plateau? Keep up the good work! You can do this!

Target sells Popchips! I like them too! In fact, Jillian Michaels mentioned those were her fave salty treat in a fitness article.

You look beautiful and stunning! You'll have to share your maintenance tips with me!
-
OMG! You look stunning! Congratulations on your hard work! You have a beautiful hourglass figure! Flaunt it, girl!

I used to make those when I used Ediets! Now, it's getting harder to find chocolate graham crackers in my grocery store. Grr.

When I started, I did take recovery days, about every other day. I didn't do it for 30 days straight, more like 3-4 times a week. It takes longer than 30 days but it's better to go at your own pace when you start out.

I agree with Kerri! When I saw your after pictures, the first thing that came to my mind was that you look like actor Giovanni Ribisi (Friends & Saving Private Ryan). Dude, you're looking great!

Thank you for being so brave and honest to post this topic. You're right, 1200 calories are too extreme. I started out at 1200 calories and was miserable, hungry, and irritable all the time. So, I upped my calorie goal to 1500 and I'm feeling much better and less deprived. I see so many people who are under-eating and…

Thanks for sharing! I'm a fan of Jillian on Facebook and enjoy reading her tips.

Sure, you can join! I didn't mean to set an arbitrary weight range. Sending you a friend request.

I love that DVD! It's part of my workout rotation.
-
Wow! Thanks for your replies and friend requests. Looking forward to "getting" to know all of you and helping each other!

I know how that's frustrating as hell! Even seemingly "safe" sandwiches can be high in calories and sodium. Even Panera Bread has sandwiches weighing in near 1,000 calories. Your best bet at Arby's would be the Roast Beef Jr. sandwich (200 calories) and a small side salad. Don't be too hard on yourself! Just learn and move…

Thanks so much for your refreshing post! You're right, we have to watch what we say around our kids. I've read articles about women with poor body images often had negative, critical, weight-conscious mothers. I sometimes put myself down in front of my family but I'm striving not to do that anymore. I want my 5 year old…

I'd go ahead and move up to level 2 before you get bored to death! I haven't mastered push-ups either ( I still do them on my knees). Levels 2 and 3 are more challenging but doable. I'd say go ahead and try level 2 to "confuse your muscles". There are modifications in both levels too.

Looks like that stranger who interrupted your workout was just very lonely. Some people are so desperate for human conversation that they'll do anything to get it. Sorry she interrupted your workout, maybe she'll get the hint eventually. I'm like you, when I go to the gym, I don't have time to chit-chat.

We are snowed in too! My plan is to do the Biggest Losers Cardio Max DVD in the family room.

Wow! Congrats on your loss! 33 lbs is impressive! You're a beautiful girl no matter what size you are.

I felt bad for the twins too. I noticed that Jillian gave the eliminated twin an awkward, quick hug and I could tell she was deeply disappointed in him. I wondered how the heck the twins gained 9 lbs each? Did they secretly splurged? Do they prepare their own meals at the ranch? The eliminated twin did have emotional…

That sounds yummy! Thanks for sharing! I will have to try that for a weekday supper.

I love Mexican food and try to choose chicken or steak crispy tacos with salsa. Easy on the cheese and sour cream or go without. I try to avoid the chips and I eat just a quarter of refried beans and rice. Chicken fajitas are OK in moderation. Hope this helps!

Thanks for sharing! I could see that gal was losing inches and gaining muscle. She's so inspirational, not giving up even when the scale didn't move.
