Wow! How did you and your trainer figure out you were only taking in 1100 calories? That was very low. How many daily points were you given?

I think you should go ahead and wear that bikini with pride! You're well-proportioned and curvy; you already look good. I'm 5'6 and weigh 155 lbs and am too self-conscious.

Pretty! Nice dark hair and pretty face.

Sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing; it's nice to know that healthier pizza options are available. I'm curious about their Hawaiian Thin Delite; I'll have to google that.

I can so relate to you; we have similar stats. I started my healthy lifestyle at age 32 and at 186-190 lbs, before having kids. I improved my diet and worked out moderately 4-5 days/week and got down to 137 lbs in 9 months. If I can do this, so can you! Then, I had my first child at age 33 and managed to lose the baby…

Thanks for all your comments! They were very insightful and helpful!

Good point, Tharrop. I got a slightly below chin, a-line bob which is way more flattering than the "duck butt". When I saw that on Kate G., I thought it looked weird.

I use both 3 lbs and 5 lbs depending on how hard/fast a particular exercise is. I use 5 lbs on the surrender move now that I've gotten stronger. If an exercise is shoulder/arm intensive, I use the 3 lbs. Hope this helps!

I'm so sorry that happened to you. But you should be proud of yourself for making smart choices: walking and getting Subway for dinner. That jerk was just projecting his own insecurities on you, building himself up by tearing others down. From what I can see, you're a beautiful woman (love your red hair!) and we applaud…

My hubby finds Kate Beckinsale (Pearl Harbor, Underworld), Neve Campbell (Party of 5) and Jennifer Connelly (Hulk, Beautiful Mind) attractive. All are skinny brunettes, not really curvy celebs at all :(

Heck yeah! I see a big difference in your face and your waist/hips look smaller! Good job!

I like Victoria Secret's cotton hiphuggers, very comfy and flattering for curvy girls like me.

Thanks for sharing! I love Mexican food and am always looking for healthier versions.

I agree, he's giving up too easily. He obviously got mental/emotional issues to work through. He says he's 15 lbs away from his goal weight, but I have a feeling he's going to slip up at home (he seems to have lost motivation). Can't believe he's walking away from the chance of winning the show (he's capable of pulling big…

Sounds delish! Thanks for sharing!

Fun thread!! 1. My waist (always been smaller than my hips) no matter my weight. 2. My naturally wavy hair. 3. My lips (not too thin, not too big).

I log on to Facebook everyday but this site has become my new Facebook in a way. I get more support and comments here :P

I'm in the same boat! I'm mixing up my workouts and eating more of my exercise calories, but the scale is so stubborn! I'd like some tips too!

I read that spinning does a great job of slimming down hips and thighs. Also, circuit training helps. I'm doing Jillian Michael's workout DVDs and I've lost some inches in my hips and thighs.

Thanks for sharing! I'm in the same boat as you... house full of hyper kids. A trip to McDonalds' is a much needed break for me and my sanity. I feel guilty for eating there once a week but sometimes have no choice, what with picky eaters and a long, cold spring break cooped up in the house. I usually order a plain…

"Like" button :) My hubby likes Kate Beckinsale but sadly I don't resemble her.

Lots of people on this site mentioned that they lost more inches than lbs while doing the 30 Day Shred. Everyone is different though. Doing Jillian Michaels DVDs have helped me lose pounds and inches.

I've had success with The Firm DVD's (Complete Aerobics & Weight Training, Total Sculpt) and I'm currently doing Jackie Warner's Xtreme Timesaver workout. You can get those dvds on collagevideos.com

Oh, you got me!! I thought your topic meant that you were leaving My Fitness Pal. Then, I read your fun post about saying goodbye to old habits. LOL. Good one!!
