There is an indoor cycling mode, but it says to attach the cadence sensor, which I cannot to the spin bike.

Bottom line, you just need to hold yourself accountable. Either you get up or don't. I learned this the hard way and I know how guilty I feel when I don't. Having a buddy helps, but in the end, it's how bad do you want it.

I am not eating TDEE calories. So my TDEE is 1800, I set my calories at 1,300 and only look at that number. I also do not eat any of the exercise calories back, so some days I could burn an additional 700 which makes my deficit 1,200 for that day and I try and eat around 1,300

I eat a light and fit greek yogurt for 80 calories (and 7 grams of sugar) or unsalted rice cakes with sugar free jam or preserves (very few calories...1 cake is 35-40 calories and sugar free jam is 10 for one tbl)...that really takes the craving away and you can get many flavors

I find propel water works good for me. Not nearly as potent as gatorade.

It has been a couple days since I have posted but two runs 4.5 and 4.0 brings me to 102.77 miles for the month of June. I have exceeded my goal of 100. Last day of the month tomorrow and I will be logging some miles! Most miles ever in one month! So happy.

Got out 12 hours later after speedwork last night for another 4.08 miles this morning which brings me to 94.26 for the month. I am almost to my goal!

Not quite the 5 miles I thought, but 4.12 just the same. It was speed work, so it felt like 10. Brings me to 90.18 for the month.

Speed work coming up tonight....4 miles of intervals will bring me to a little over 93 miles for the month of June....may throw in an extra mile or so after just for kicks. On track to meet my goal of 100 miles in June well before month's end.

Hey everyone! I'm Stacy. I just started running 1 1/2 years ago and will be running my 5th half marathon this fall with hopes of breaking my last time of 1:55:05 minutes. I have found a wonderful local running group and my husband and I have really enjoyed all the commodore! Happy running :drinker:

Yes, my weight went up when I started running. I have always tried to eat a deficit, I tried cutting my calories to 1,300 but I was very hungry. According to the manual way to lose 1/2 pound a week I should eat 1,650 calories per day and I am eating 1,500 so I should be losing. I do have occasional cheat days, but nothing…

I don't have a food scale to weigh meat products, however, I do use cups and tablespoons to accureately measure. I am apprehensive on cutting my calories even more because I do tend to be on the hungry side and increasing my protein does nothing for me. Non-fat PLAIN greek yogurt is 18g of protein per serving....add some sugar free preserves if you want sweetness, but DO NOT buy the flavored yogurt!!! TOO high in sugar. Also you could try a protein supplement powerder...SUPPLEMENT not REPLACEMENT

Let me tell you I exercise 5-6 times a week and when I cut carbs in my diet, I had NO energy whatsoever. I could almost fall asleep at work! It's all about choosing the right type of carb. i.e. whole grain bread over a can of soda!!!!!

I have heard this is nothing more than getting rid of water weight.........you will gain it back once you starte eating normal again.
